I've noticed the same thing, but it goes further than just nudist spaces. single men are presumed to be predators in just about any context, and men with partners are probably perceived as predators on a leash.

Yeah I been there and noticed the same thing. I remember I went to check out a nudist resort alone first to see if it's a place that I would want bring my girl to.

The first time I went nobody wants to talk to me or anything. Then when I went back with my girl then they were nice and friendly. Like we need to have a female chaperone to vouch for us.

Best way is for men to boycott places that discriminate. From my experience more men are into nudism and if men boycotted them, it would be a fast wake up call.

Where is this? I'm in Spain and go to "nude beaches" all the time, by which I just mean the beach. Never had an issue in this regard, though I'm not going to nudist meet-ups or anything like that.

What's funny is American feminists tend to be super Puritan even though they think they're "progressive." Most of their rhetoric revolves around clear sexual hangups, this being an obvious example.

The OnlyFans thing you mention adds an extra level of absurdity. But I don't want to even start on the "men must give me constant attention but are also scumbags for giving me attention" mentality.

I don't even bother with nudist clubs. Even as a happily married man I'm not wanted in them because I'd have to go solo because my wife doesn't partake in nudism. They'd class me as a "single male" and either charge me twice as much, or prevent me entering anyway.

I just stick to open nudist spaces like beaches where I can plonk myself down wherever and not give a flying fig what anyone thinks or says anyway. I've found nudist groups online to be among the most abhorrent, judgemental people anyway despite claiming nudism is all about removing judgement etc. Not people I want to be associated with quite frankly.

I suggest you just stick to going it solo in places where they can't make up the rules!

In my country, I've noticed that in adult clubs, often women have free entrance and men have to pay ridiculous sums when alone (couples pay the normal entrance).

I believe it is because men would frequent/visit these places a lot more than women, so to keep the ratio a bit closer to 50:50, this rule is set.

There's a few issues at play here. One, the sight of a nude male body is still considered offensive, to the point where a man exposing himself publicly is considered a crime worse than violence or used interchangeably with assault. There is a clear disdain for men and the male body rooted behind this sentiment, otherwise no one would feel scarred for just seeing a nude man.

Secondly, there is a great deal of hatred towards men for having a sexuality, specifically heterosexuality, and will think nothing of shaming men for even looking or showing interest in women. This is especially true when it's coming from less desirable men, and it is absolutely rooted in contempt towards men for having or showing interest in women. It's rooted in this idea that men are inherently wrong for having these or showing interest in women above their stature and should be controlled accordingly.

The third issue is that you also have this notion that you need to have more women than men around, in any party, otherwise it's not a desirable place to be. This is mostly rooted in women being valued, socially and sexually, more than men, which is also rooted in the culture that tells men that women are prizes and must be pursued/chased/worshipped accordingly. The husbands are likely agreeing to these types of regulations because it just means more women for them and less men to compete with or look at.

The fourth issue is that you also have this idea of pre-selection, where women collectively decide which men are allowed to be included based on the pre-selection of one or few women. Some times those women will be biased towards their own partners as well, so even when their partner is completely inappropriate and a stranger wouldn't be, that partner is still given favor over the stranger and even allowed far more inappropriate behavior that would never be allowed from a stranger. This is also mostly rooted in trying to appeal to women's whims and desire to control men.

Banning men (unless accompanied by a women) is no different than banning blacks to make white people feel more comfortable. Discrimination on the basis of race is fortunately now illegal under the civil rights act, but discrimination on the basis of sex, isn’t so such institutions are free to discriminate against men.

Just as many whites stood up against discrimination against blacks, we need more women to stand up, object and boycott such venues as well as married men.

The misandrist attitude many places have is a tough one. It reminds me of some colleges where young men are constantly criticized and subject to accusation.

You are going to have to get into the “obvious examples” if you want us to understand because I for one have never experienced a nudist colony.

The only one you seemed to have mentioned is being discriminate about letting single men in. That’s not just at nudist colonies. Many clubs charge men but not women a cover change, some dating apps do the same thing and for a sex club men need to being a woman or women with them. This is not a benefit to women, this is actually a benefit to the men that do get in/pay so they have their pick of the litter.

There’s also the inverse of this at a gentleman’s club in that women must be accompanied by a “gentleman” to get in. This is to benefit the dancers so as not to take attention/money away from them. Women are being discriminated against to benefit other women.

I’ve noticed that many people hide under the form of being a nudist/naturist just to get their jolly kicks off. Me, my mom and my sister grew up in a nudist household so that we could be comfortable with our bodies and how we looked, but we obviously put clothes on whenever we have visitors, male or female. Have you thought about advocating for men’s only nudist clubs?

That said, I can't blame resorts discriminating against single men. My wife tells of MANY stories of creepy men acting inappropriately (against resort rules) at resorts. Yes, they get kicked out, but they keep happening, enough that it spoils the resort visits for some women.

Yes, not all men, etc. But in this case, unfortunately biology has a say. Women tend to creep without acting; men tend to creep in ways that are more obviously objectionable. And in a place where you are extra vulnerable (no clothing/arms/whatever), that additional vulnerability makes people even more... paranoid.

Yes, to tar you with the same brush is objectively unfair. But you cannot say that it's incomprehensible.

IME any nudist space that doesn't cater to women's priorities will lose women, and losing women means the place goes belly-up or has to become known as a gay spot to survive.

Idealism is one thing, but unfotunately my advice is just keep your head down, and be happy they allow single men at all.

I've been a nudist for over 40 years. And I was single for the first ten of those.

Guess how many women I saw masturbating at the beach? None. Guess how many men? Several - less than 10, but more than zero.

Guess how many times I was hit on by men? A few.

Guess how many times I saw men swarm around a nice looking single woman? Too many.

Like it or not, there are far too many ill-behaved men that use nudism as a venue to get their sexual jollies. Nudist resorts take actions to minimize the risk of bad actors entering their venues.

While I was single, I visited numerous nudist resorts and beaches. I probably got a little more scrutiny, but I got in - and, yes, there may have been one or two that I didn't get in. I was even a full member of one for a few years. Know what worked? Joining a national organization. Becoming a literal card-carrying nudist.

Sorry, but your complaint gets no sympathy from me.

People are completely missing the reason that club do this. They do it to get a gender balance. Most of the time there is not an outright ban on single men, but they are limited so that men don't massively outnumber women.

Like it or not in these type of environments most women would not like to be massively outnumbered or the only one in the whole place, and then if you don't have some form of limit then these clubs tend to go into a gender spiral. There a less women so it becomes less likely for new ones to join and so on.

I'm not saying I necessarily agree with with it, but I'm not sure of a better solution...

Here's the thing, bro. A lot of those nude spaces are probably ran by men who don't want other men there competing for women. That's just a guess. I could be wrong. Then you have another sector of those nude spaces that are actually ran by women or married couples. And that couple may be heavily blue-pilled in feminism and they believe all men are evil and all women are good.

That is an archaic way of thinking, but you definitely have people that believe that way. My best advice to you is go it alone. The world doesn't give a fuck about men. They don't care about men's wants, desires, or mental health. If you can't provide a service for the world, if you can't do work for the world, then you're useless to the world. We will always be loved on condition. Women will always be loved unconditionally.
