Hey, hey, divorcees!

I went from the lowest point in my life to feeling great about my future. Here’s how:

I wanted to share part of my journey with you all today because we can use a little more positivity on this sub while we are dealing with the challenges of dating after a divorce. But guess what? There's hope, and I'm living proof!

A few years back, I went through a tough divorce that shattered my self-esteem because she got the kids to turn against me; she got the house, the car, and she even got the dog (I didn’t fight for them because I didn’t want the kids to be hurt even more)! She got most of “our friends” too by speaking negatively about me.

I had been with the same woman for so long, and my confidence was so low that I didn’t know how to be attractive to women anymore. The dating scene seemed daunting, like climbing a huge mountain, because I couldn't muster up the courage to approach women. I got so frustrated with feeling like a loser that I had to make a change.

I started by investing in myself. I hit the gym A LOT! Not just for looks, but for the confidence it gave me. I felt more masculine, like the strongest man I could be. I upgraded my wardrobe and invested in some cologne that was often complimented. But the real game-changer was mastering non-verbal communication.

I learned how my body language, eye contact, and facial expressions (smile, guys) made a huge impact on my dates. As a matter of fact, I learned how to project confidence and intrigue without saying a word so well that women noticed and started conversations with me!

Fast forward to today, and I'm in a loving, exciting (even after a year and a half) relationship with a successful, beautiful, intelligent, and deeply caring woman. But enough about me; I want to hear your story too!
