Like I sincerely don't understand it, I mean sure obviously a lot of autistic guys, especially college-aged ones, are gonna struggle with interpersonal communication cues here and there, but why did they have to involve them for a stupid running gag, that not only gives a bunch of young autistic men self-doubt and self-limitation, but to me is misandry hidden in plain hindsight, why couldn't there have a been better trope? unironically and feasibly this is only going to drive young disenfranchised autistic men only more into blackpill/redpill rabbit holes, do they really not the mess they're creating?

Like I can understand the stereotypical fat nerd with glasses and a beard, I can understand that being the running joke behind incel-shaming, but why autistic men get targeted at their deficiencies in social processing and interpersonal communications? You're literally only adding more fuel to the fire, not only that, but by contributing to the trope, you're literally adding to the ''creepy, socially akward, timid'' autist stereotype that already gives autistic men lots of trouble in the dating and even friends-making scene. WHY DID THIS HAVE TO GET TO THIS POINT?

But I suppose with autistic people in general really lacking any sort of political mobility, this makes autistic people perfect targets for social humiliations in regards to social justice culture and identity politics, and considering especially autistic men still get the short end of the stick, this doesn't surprise me, this also goes with the act of what one would call desirability politics, in that well who really desires being autistic? On the other hand saying you never desired being black or female are enough to guarantee public backlash and open shunning, so it would also make sense considering incel is already used in a pretense to assume a guy is completely unattractive, undesirable and struggling socially and romatically, therefore adding to the mess of being an autistic guy in general
