Ghosting is just impolite and that's about it, men do, women do - it is what it is.

What about all the men that ghost women? Happens all the time and other men promote 'just ghost her'.

Have you actually read any posts in that sub? How many men are killed and decapitated by a woman they are dating?

I don't know, ghosting doesn't really hurt anyone, if they stop messaging you it's fairly clear they're no longer interested. So exchanging pleasantries for the sake of it does not really do anything.

People don't REALLY ghost because they're afraid of a psychopaths coming to kill them. They do it because it avoids an awkward situation, and the level of social distance there I between us all now with the Internet, it allows us to act selfishly without any concern for the other person.

You COULD explain yourself in an awkward conversation that you don't want to have, or you could just dip out and leave them holding the bag.

Sucks for them, but saves you. It was never about safety. That's just something a person says when pressed for a reason for acting poorly.

It happens to both men and women.

Though, if it were, I don't know what a person is supposed to do. A predator isn't going to be off put by an explanation either. If some psycho has his crosshairs on you, what can you do?

I don’t think most people ghost because of safety, they’re usually just not interested. Safety for women is a completely separate issue. Also it’s way more than 2%, more than half of women will be SA’d in their lifetime. So it’s definitely not only 2% of men

you said only 2% of men are predators which is mathematically impossible so it already seems like you're not being serious.

Most predators like easy prey (just like in nature) and will move on to an easier person to get what they want, as soon as one is available.

Perhaps 2% of predators won't move on but they wouldn't have anyway so ghosting doesn't impact their behavior for the worse.

I grew up around some wealthy women (their families) and they were very classy. Even at the age of 15 if a woman didn’t like you she’d treat you well and politely let you down and say “I wish us to be the best of friends” and mean it sincerely! You’d be treated well, she may even wingman for you, never use you. And if she changed her mind later on you’d never feel used- because she wasn’t using you as a back up.

It’s generally trashy women that ghost and use you.

I say this because in my experience it’s done for deniability. So that if they see you doing well for yourself or other women interested they can sneak back into your DMs with a “oh hey, it’s been a while”.

As a man we are gas lighted a lot.

A lot of women back on others and say “oh get over it you’re not entitled to her attention” as if it’s not hurtful.

But trust me women are well aware it’s hurtful. I realised this when years ago I stopped being a “nice guy” and had so much more respect and romantic success. When I ignored this girl that slithered back to me after ghosting me she was losing her shit because I didn’t reply for just one day!!! Meanwhile she ghosted me for months when she felt I was beneath her.

Have self respect.

There’s a lot of women out here that are damaged. They chase guys that treat them badly. What I noticed is when that guy uses and abuses them they will always be a doormat to him and always go back. Doesn’t matter how much she complains she will always try hardest to validate him.

Guess who she reserves her anger and hurtful behaviour for? The nice fool that is dependable and a friend to her.

That’s a sign of a garbage woman.

Classy women don’t do that. I noticed the worst women will chase the wrong men and feel slighted and in turn treat easy target soft men as hurtfully as possible to feel better about themselves.

I used to be the nice guy years ago, now I’m the guy who the girl keeps chasing and I see her text convos with the loyal nice guy who she randomly acts like a total bitch to and gives abuse- surprise surprise always when she’s pissed at me for not giving her what she wants.

A lot of guys need to learn to have a backbone and not see women as if value just for being slim and mildly attractive. Just as many women are trash as men.

If a woman is not treating you well or seems to be randomly abusive she’s using you as a punching bag for her failures with the man who she feels she’s not good enough for. She will NEVER give him vexation, she’ll give it to you. She’ll never give you sex or affection but she’ll give it to him.

Learn to say no.

Biggest lesson for any guys reading. When a girl I was banging and didn’t care about needed to move house she didn’t ask me.. no she would never want to bother me with that, she asked the guy friend she sees as a loser to do it.

When a girl ghosts you, it’s because she’s probably been used by a guy she can’t lock down and to make herself feel better she’s engineered a situation where she can be the one “dishing it out”.

It’s ridiculous but I’ve seen it time and again, a woman can be very petty when feeling a bit slighted and go as far as engineering a situation to hurt a different guy just to feel better. Even setting up a date with a chump she knows she has no intention of going on just to not turn up so she can wound the guy heavily… Because someone like me left her on read a little too long.

This is more common with younger women it more damaged 20s women.

It’s all round trashy behaviour issue is guys actually think it means they’re not good enough, no she’s trash you shouldn’t care when theres beautiful kind loving classy women that don't act like that.
