...the thing I like about this sub is I can go from seeing "ALL WOMEN ARE WH*RES WHO ONLY WANT CHAD AND HATE NICE GUYS! NICE GUYS FINISH LAST T-T" to normal, non-sexist posts/comments lol.

But fr it's actually sad to me. The amount of relationships this mindset has ruined and especially the women it's hurt I hate the fact that since women are humans like literally everyone else they might believe some of the shit they're told even if it's super abusive and stay in a toxic relationship because they think they don't deserve love or that it's normal or whatever it may be.

It just ain't right to treat people that way especially just because you want to have sex I'd rather live and die a virgin and alone than put a girl I'm supposed to love on the level other guys put girls it's pure bullshit one thing that genuinely blows my mind is when they look at these guys who sleep with girls weekly as rolemodels or superheroes but a girl who has sex with a one guy and they aren't dating/married becomes "sloppy seconds" and then these same guys bitch about being turned down or broken up with

makeup doesn’t do anything

if you’re ugly your makeup is not gonna look “clean”. it’s gonna look tacky and stupid and people will make fun of you. eyeliner only looks good on people with good eye areas. lipstick only looks good on big lips. similar to how clothes only look good on certain body types. makeup doesn’t change your face, all it can do is add color and contrast. like contour, blush and concealer. which works for some people, but most traits that make you objectively ugly are unchangable and undebatable. i still do makeup sometimes when i’m bored, but there’s no point in wearing it in public. it’s just embarrassing so i usually dress like shit too

It's just biology, and perfectly human to do so.

It is totally biological to do what's deemed attractive and attractive a mate you're right! But guess what? We aren't limited to our biology and biologically speaking we're also "programmed" to seek out pleasure, be it sexual or non-sexual. So for example if a girl wears a pretty outfit and likes it, it will release dopamine, do you know what dopamine is biological red pill?... let me answer anyways. It's a chemical your brain releases that rewards things you like "dopamine's role isn't to directly cause euphoria, but serves as a reinforcement for remembering and repeating pleasurable experiences." (source) And as a result she'll repeat the experience. Same applies for sexy outfits. Maybe she likes it because it gets male attention that's totally possible and I'm sure it happens, but what if she likes it because it makes her look good and that makes her feel good about herself, her brain releases dopamine and as a result she wants to wear it again to repeat the feeling.

Take for example a girl with tight yoga pants in the gym, sure maybe she's wearing it to make men trip on their own tongues but maybe, just maybe, she likes seeing herself looking good but doesn't want to be treated like an object, have we considered that?

That's right men, just because a woman dresses good does not mean she wants to be objectified and does not invite you to do so.

I wonder why the difference between the sexes?

Women tend to like nice looking things in general. Have you ever seen a womans apartment versus a mans apartment lol? I decorated our apartment but if it were up to my husband we would just have plain naked walls and he'd be perfectly fine with that lol.

For most men as long as it serves its purpose it's good enough. Not saying there's anything wrong with that. Just that we think differently.

It's like a man could feel ugly and gross and still want to have sex.

But a woman who is feeling ugly and gross would not want to be touched. He or she would need to make her feel sexy first.

Honestly I have no idea. I would never want to have sex with someone who thought I was ugly lol. I just think there's certain things we're just not going to understand about each other.

But what you're not getting is that it is not representative of anything irl and the things men think we want are not representative of what we ACTUALLY want. This is not about me needing simplicity, it's about you missing the point entirely.

I don't like judging people on physicallity alone, but since you're asking, Yes, I can say that with a straight face.

And given your "women always" comment, I will further take the time to explain why, as a (hopeful) means of getting past your disbelief and misunderstanding for this and all other future conversations on the subject.

The man in your example's frame is clearly not meant to carry this level of musculature naturally.

He obviously has slender shoulders and overworked his delts, lats, and upper traps to try to overcome that; plus his abs are all janky. My guess is he's a swimmer? who started out naturally slender with a triangle frame, then started doping to get an edge after he began competing against stronger swimmers.

This level of muscle does not look healthy or innate on him, and I honestly cannot think of a friend who would find him attractive.

Not to get too into it, but the reason most women find muscles attractive is that we like the idea that a man could pick us up, move us around, and hold us up, if we wanted. (And some suggest we evolutionarily want someone to protect us and our children...)

Health and strength are needed for that, not necessarily muscle definition, and certainly not 6 layers of delts and traps pasted onto a smaller frame that clearly cannot be maintained healthily over time.

Women I know are typically more into this or this (see pics) which are both examples of men who have muscles, yes, but both the size and definition sit naturally on their frames. They look like they can hold you but don't need whey powder, injections, and 5 hours a day in the gym to keep their bodies naturally strong.

The only people I know who are into the level of muscle on Gigachad, weird anime man, and unnatural swimmer guy are:

a woman I know who only dates men as arm candy because she admittedly only cares how they look on her arm/ in pics (and she probably wouldn't like how swimmer guy photographs).
gay men.

Now that I have taken the time to thoroughly explain what I'm sure others just ignore/ dismiss when you bring it up, I hope it brought you new insight that you can take back to TRP land and help all of the men there feel less pressured to look disgusting for no reason (unless they want to date a travel influencer or a gay man, that is). *

Glad that I could help, that gives me a much better idea of the argument that you’re making here. I am a bit busy now so I can’t address every aspect of your comment, but I will probably come back and maybe send a more detailed reply in DMs at a later point if possible. Firstly, I’m not TRP, I don’t know why every woman assumes that of me here but I trend towards believing none of the pilled ideologies give a truly all encompassing view of gender relations, though recently at least in relationship to this subreddit I have been a lot more “blackpill” if you must label me.

Secondly, David Laid isn’t a swimmer, not even close, swimmer’s don’t get anywhere near 200 pounds of body mass and usually have a much more slender physique with muscle mass focused towards their core and back. David is a gym shark athlete and pro bodybuilder who specifically trains for size and aesthetics, which may be why you personally find his physique unnatural, he intentionally trains to carry as much muscle on his frame as he possibly can while remaining aesthetic and in tune with the golden ratio of a solid V taper that dominates the bodybuilding scene.

Thirdly, the two men you show still look very muscular and thick (well, at least the guy on top does). My whole point was that gigachad is not meant to be an objective showcase of what women most desire, but a fantasy exaggeration of male traits that women do find desirable (musculature, nice hair, a strong jawline) all taken to a cartoonish extreme for meme purposes, and sorry to say it but…the physique on top still takes a LOT of work and dedication, women do not realize this because of how much the fitness scene is inundated with men who are juiced to the gills with exogenous hormones, but even achieving that level of size that you describe as being healthy and strong takes years of dedication to reach. The first guy isn’t “looks like he can hold you” he legitimately looks like a low tier male model, and I swear that Ryan Gosling pic has to be edited cause I remember him being way leaner in that movie and having super visible abs and striations.

All I mean to say is, women claiming men “overrate” muscles don’t get the point, because for the majority of men working out to achieve a physique that attracts women, their natural potential will cap out somewhere near what you display in the two examples you gave. And even men who hop on steroids often gain physiques women still find attractive, genetic freak monsters who look jacked to the gills and crazy overly buff are the extreme minority and no man goes to that level thinking it will get them women…or at least not normal women.
