I was watching a you-tube short of Chris Williamson talking to Destiny.

Chris Williamson was talking about the general apathy that LVM seem to embody - ie they have subpar looks, social skills and finances, and the dating world being as cut cutthroat as it is makes the battle to find someone all the more ... impossible. So in a system where failure is guaranteed, why even try? Why not just go home drink and smoke your days away and jerk off until you get porn induced erectile dysfunction. (paraphrasing) What the fuck is the point? Why go through all that stress for questionable and marginal benefits of a relationship?

In response to that Destiny talks about how his life is insanely stressful, and he loves it. He gets into controversy, people come at him gunning for him trying to make his career as a streamer untenable and he fucking loves navigating that. He finds it fun because to him the stress is Eu-stress. Its a bad situation, but he feels like he has he tools to deal with it., and the past successes of having dealt with it reinforces his confidence. And it is fun now. He wont seek it out but he will happily engage.

He also describes how stress can be bad .... about how the bad situation can seem and probably is correctly estimated as insurmountable. the soullessness and emotional emptiness that it can foster.

I reflected on it and realized how true it seemed.

there are things that i deal with have dealt with that most people would consider stress

Dating is stress to me while others would consider it Eustress. Challenging but fun

Doomers - seem to see dating as pure insurmountable, 'give up before you try' stress.
Blue and redpillers see it as Eustress.
