You should go out and approach other girls if you can force yourself to. For me this has made regret fade. Go out with some wings if possible to make it easier.

I still face regret for failure to act. Nothing to do but move to another girl. And push it out of your mind if it's bothering you. Think of the positive reactions for those times you did approach.
