Not everybody goes out to pick up some girls. Some dudes may have met some friends they knew for some time and what happens when you see an old friend? You talk to them for a long time. It is pretty normal to talk to other dudes.

Well for one thing, a guy who bounces from girl to girl and doesn't talk to pretty much anyone else is obviously on the prowl. It's a red flag. Plus, the social guy is more attractive in general.

Which is a good thing from a guy's perspective - guys who go out with the intention of getting girls are unsuccessful because women can sense their thirstiness and desperation. Going up to the hot girl and slobbering all over her hotness is the #1 way to have her immediately rule you out. Having fun and talking to random dudes is genuinely fun for us also, and guys having fun are less threatening to women and this often causes them to approach us or subtly put themselves into our orbit because who doesn't want to be around fun people rather than thirsty mfs.

Not a surprise. Guys who aren't pressed for outcomes typically do better when it comes to pulling at clubs, parties, etc. The guys who go to clubs and are pressed for results will gas every cute girl in the club up and frankly look desperate.

Women are going to be more interested when they see a group of men having a great time and being social without them.

The guys are usually more friendly to other guys, especially when we’re drunk. Also, you don’t have to worry about the whole thing that if you’re attractive=talk to me, unattractive=creep. I’d consider myself fairly attractive, but I know girls can be rude to guys even if they introduce themselves and the girl doesn’t find him attractive.

So, this is my personal perspective, but I am a rather tall man (6'5) who has been described as "intense", "angry", "bouncer" and "trouble". Obviously, if I'm in the business of trying to gain a young woman's attention, I don't want her to think I would ever hurt her. I also don't want to go hitting on a taken woman. To that end, if I don't notice an "in", I don't approach women typically. If I don't get the implication she's at least curious, I don't approach.

Most guys like that are all talk and no action. I’ve been there and seen it. Most of us feel confident when it’s guys talking about engaging with a woman, but when that woman appears then our confidence falls. We feel that she is too good for us, which in fact she’s not. It takes time, trial n error to build up confidence and keep being confident despite turn downs. I was like that at the beginning when trying to pick up girls. Once I build up my confidence I didn’t what I had to to keep having my confidence. Most women (from not so good looking to major hotties) let themselves be taken by a guy who shows he is confident and assertive. I also know that for a fact. Maybe the guys you’ve seen aren’t there yet 🤷‍♂️

Tbh, as a guy who does exactly as described, they just strike up more and different conversations. I’ve had conversations about native Americans, politics, the bible, tractors, guns, women, smoking, cars, fighting, and all sorts of general memeness. Even though I’ve seen men get into fights lots, I’ve seen more women fight lol.

My interactions with girls can be summed up with about 4 things

-dry and short lasting/not interested which is whatever

-I’m too nervous to talk to one Im interested in

-they just get mean for no reason

-they punch me in the face

Otherwise, don’t waste your time. Pick up a girl ANYWHERE other than a club. The street during a club night is better for pickup than the actual club lol

Imagine video game that says "thousands of heroes to play" and after couple of minutes you realize there is like five heroes just with different colours. That's how women are. Same reason why a lot of women at clubs are simply there to talk to their friends and not be hit on. Sometimes guys already have partners and are there just to hang out with their friends or are just not interested that night, no matter how hot you are.

You want to start out by talking to people in general and warming up. Guys are usually chill. Women are a lot less predictable potentially hostile and expect money for talking to you in the form of drinks. The goal isn’t to pick up women it’s to have fun.
