I don’t think it would be a good opportunity to ask for a number after you’ve lend her phone and did that stuff. After vaccination you should’ve tried to catch her and asked “Hey thanks for letting me lend your phone back there” and then try to catch her number. Like this it won’t look like all a trick to catch her number. It’s more genuine imo but correct me if i’m wrong.

Not all intentions are received the same. If the intention is to hook up, it's not a very tactical move to say that you're looking to hook up within the first five minutes of talking, that doens't work even with girls who are open for a hookup.

Or, its that a lot of people feel shy over their intentions. You want to get laid, so play the part. Approach, ask to give or receive a number, and move along. If rejected, move on to the next.

Don't beat around the bush and try to be clever.

This is the healthy mindset as opposed to "she's physically attractive, therefore I want to get her approval somehow without caring really that much about her personality"

I try the same things right now as practice, the intention right now is just to start conversations with just about anyone. It was helpful to start with guys and over time I might work more on girls

Back when not most people got the vaccine and I was gonna sit next to a girl for a while, I asked if she was vaccinated (I wasn't and couldn't so I asked for safety), It felt nice to get it out of my system (I don't get why people remove their masks to talk but she did and I saw her face and knew she wasn't my type). Kinda felt bad objectifying her like that a bit but then I thought that from her perspective it was nothing. It's not necessarily about the intention but how you would value the rejection in each scenario. If you ask a beautiful girl for help and she declines you would assume she is some coldhearted #€&%. If you ask her for her number and she declines it's natural to devalue yourself. It's more important to work on self worth and accepting rejection than faking some weird intention

Well having a clear intention is helpful. But this is more of a case of ‘treat all women the same’.

Most guys choke up and act out of pocket when talking to a woman that really knocks his socks off. But notice, the women he doesn’t want, wants him.

Don’t treat them differently because of their looks, it’ll take you much further.

I absolutely agree with this. I have no issues approaching women at all, I just need a reason (or intention) to do so. How do you find that intention, especially if you don't have a legitimate intention?

It's just hard to make the leap when you start approaching with the intention of liking her rather than something more "socially acceptable".

If you feel an approach barrier you should look into rejection therapy by Jia Jiang. This method is a sirious gamechanger and doesn't even have to be implemented in the same way as he did but will liberate you from the barrier
