If you look at these points logically, they will help you in becoming a better person overall. They will help you in every sphere of life, and not just getting dates. I personally figured out a few of these points during my college years, and it transformed my personality from a person which everybody considers a crap, to a person at which people look on with respect.

Exactly, that's the secret to learning "seduction." The same traits that make you successful with women often make you successful in life in general.
[–]GDAWG13007 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yep. I went at it sort of from the reverse. I worked on building my career and building relationships in that first. Seduction largely works very similarly, I just added sexuality on top of what I was already doing with networking and work relationships. Was very eye opening how similar they are.

If you’re not very physically attractive though, being yourself and avoiding any chasing or pursuing but having your standards can lead you through long periods of having almost nothing I suspect
Still preferable to being a people pleaser and a doormat though
[–]PrettyLittlePenguin 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Well 2 things on that, first I dissagree on that not being very physically attractive has to lead to long periods of almost nothing. I´m not the guy in general any girl would pick from a line up. Yet when I wanted to I always had girls around me.
Second I liked having all the girls around me, I have a friend who didn´t. He simply was okay with having almost nothing, and that´s not a bad thing if it´s completely of your choosing. He´s dating very rarely, but when he does, it´s a girl that he´s really into and generally she is just as into him aswell.
[–]FaithInStrangers94 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Well playing indifferent/hard to get isn’t going to do you much good if you’re hard to want right? It’s not the case that every girl will just flock to the guy who looks aloof - he has to work for it whilst respecting himself of course.
Yeah I think it pays to figure what we actually want - quite often we imitate without questioning whether we even want their lifestyle. I’m 6’5 and pretty good looking but have only ever really wanted to date one girl at a time and never really enjoyed one nights stands, so I eventually stopped bothering or feeling odd for feeling that way and just accepted my desires for what they are.

There is a massive difference between being indiffirent and hard to get and not chasing though. You can still talk and flirt with girls and not be chasing. Lots of this discussion comes down to semantics. But exactly what you said, self-respect is a massive key here.

Is 5 actually true? There has to be a certain amount of chase right?
It’s just I like this girl and I’ve not been chasing, think she likes me to but we just don’t talk otherwise.
Pretty sure women want to be pursued.

29f here.
Unless you’re interested in skipping the honeymoon stage and jumping straight into “building a life together” and domestic responsibility, then I absolutely expect to be “chased”. It’s part of the excitement of dating someone new.

Yes, you should not be afraid of showing your honest intentions. Persistence works when it is combined with non-neediness. Also shows your confidence in yourself.
[–]PaleontologistDry578 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Depends on your definition of chasing. What I feel, chasing means if somebody is not giving you attention, you try to be more around them expecting them to notice you. You expect some kind of acceptance. But this comes at a cost of self respect. If a woman is interested in you, and gives subtle signs, then I don't think trying to be around her should be called as chasing.
[–]compellinglymediocre 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
women want to be pursued but ultimately they want “what they can’t change”, hence if you act confident in yourself, they desire that.
[–][deleted] 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
But why would any guy willingly want to chase a girl. That shit´s time consuming af.
There are plenty of girls which you won´t have to "chase".
[–]GotThaAcid5tab 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Depends what we mean by chase I guess?
Chasing someone who isn’t interested fair enough.
If she gives you signs but is maybe shy or introverted or British or high value she isn’t gonna chase a guy surely.. just can’t see it.
[–]JayElectricity 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
or British
This made me laugh more than it should have.

As a Londoner I can tell you 90% of the techniques on this sub do not work… in terms of day game at least..
[–]Ancient_Educator_76 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Okay then, how do I seduce a brit? Tell random jokes as I pass by, look at her shoulders? The floor is yours. Seriously curious.

Slip a finger up her bottom as you undo her girdle

Or is it just you, the time I spent in London it worked like anywhere else
No one has to chase anyone at all. If there is any mutual attraction just build on that.
[–]JambalayaGreenerbort 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You might have to put in some work in order to get there interest intially then they do most of the chasing once you've established trust.
[–]AVGVSTVS_OPTIMVS 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They do want to see an effort from a man they are attracted to but there's a fine line between persistence and obsession.
[–]ayleidanthropologist 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
For me I don’t mind making the first move or saying something if I mean it. But I won’t give my attention to somebody that doesn’t want it. That’s how I interpret it.

Number 9, is very important, The art of conversation is dying and there are a lot of dull and boring women who think it's your job to entertain them.
[–]wallynext 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
number 4 hits close to home
[–]fINDiT800k 15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Or have $
[–]paddywacknack 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Totally missed the point of number one huh?
[–]TerminatorReborn 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Having $ doesn't mean buying the person dude, showering them with expensive dinners and gifts is a way to find a gold digger. With that said pretty much every woman in the world wants someone successful as their partner, and the more successful you are the more high value women will be attracted to you.

[–]elmsfordays 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
A lot of these can be solved by approaching many girls so you don't get attached to one
[–]siamachine 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree. Without moderation, these will lead you right into “f••kboy” territory.
[–]Popular_Variation170 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What's wrong with chasing a person you're interested in? What If it's your dream person? That should be fine imo as long as you don't put that person on a pedestal.

Number 4 is so difficult to do.
