I've recently started using tinder as well and below is a few very very random notes. I'm no expert and this is just a products of my own thoughts. Please return some feedback.

  1. Your main pic should be with you and a few friends. That way you increase the chance of her clicking to see which one you are. This also shows that you actually have friends... social proof.

  2. The second few pics should be of you doing something cool. Sport/music/whatever it is that you do. And if you don't do anything cool you haven't read enough about pua.

  3. The last few pics should be of you in everyday clothing. Looking your best of course.

  4. If possible, at least one picture where you are with a girl or two. Again social proof... and envy I suppose.

  5. And the mandatory party pic... which could be the one above. Because you do cool stuff AND party!

  6. I have no text in my profile... but a snappy remark about being ready to lie about where you met or something is probably not a bad idea. Anyway, empty worked for me.

  7. All the images on my profile I had rated on another dating site. Which means I know that I'm about a 7 on a scale from 1-10. It also helped me discard a few images which I actually liked but the public felt differently about.

  8. Don't compliment them on their looks. If they say something smart you can let them know. Tell them that you like their style. And remember push/pull.

  9. Remember the standard texting rules. Write about half as much as she does and take about twice as long to reply. In particular there was this one girl where I could just see that her reply intervals was increasing as I was applying the above.

  10. Be mysterious. Don't tell them everything. I work as a bouncer. I don't want to tell them that over text for several reasons. 1. Some consider it bragging 2. Some have something against bouncers due to bad encounters 3. Some are really turned on by the fact that I can beat up their ex. I don't mind the last case too much if I'm just in it for the sex... but remember what you mom told you about crazy! And especially the part you dad told you about not telling crazy where you live! Anyway, this girl suggested that we hangout this friday. I simply said nope, can't. She implied that I was busy dating others. I told her that of course not, I'm saving myself for you. But this friday I'm working. As what she asks. I tell her that I'd tell her that in person when we meet. She asks if I'm a stripper. I tell her that of course I could be such. But that I'm not. Here I also add that it's nothing perverted or odd but that I would just feel more comfortable tell her in person. And that she shouldn't be alarmed.

  11. Make them the aggressor. If she tells you that you look damn hot and types several smilies to emphasize it. You pull the good ol': Easy now tiger, you haven't even met my parents.

  12. As soon as you setup the logistics for a date you sort of excuse yourself and stop texting. Look gorgeous, I really enjoy chatting with you and I'm looking forward to seeing you. But I desperately need to get some work done. So excuse me if I'm not replying too much... hope you understand... or something.

  13. Emphasize the stuff you have in common. If she is into healthy food and you are too. Tell her that it's very important... something. Regarding exercise, especially crossfitters, I tell them that I really like that they exercise properly and that my impression is that most girls just fool around. And that she might be allowed to join me on a survival/hiking trip. Which brings me to...

  14. Adventures. Tell her that you want to travel with her. And then push her by saying that you might dump her in bangkok if she gets too annoying. And then pull her... by saying... something which I haven't made up yet. (But you need a pull here!)

Update: Good advice found in the comments, in random order and without credit... sorry, this turned into more work than I expected.

  1. Have fun! Just like everywhere else that should be your main goal!

  2. If you have tattoos. Show them... like you wouldn't anyway.

  3. You need to say something more than hi. A witty remark or something about their pictures... something which will set you just a bit aside from the rest of us. But haveing said that, be sure to understand this.

  4. Avoid selfies. Use in-the-moment photos and make you friends snap a few before going out... reads while looking sharp.

  5. I had my images rated on badoo. But there are probably other and better sites for such.

  6. Don't oversell yourself! Don't pretend to be something that you aren't! And furthermore, having too many images of your Ferrari's and what not will probably intimidate her more then attracting her.
