This seems to happen to me often, I'm walking along and out of no where a cute girl comes into my field of view and then vanishes as she walks past me. I would love to approach her but I noticed her so suddenly and now she's completely gone before I even have time to think. You'd think that I could just turn around and catch up to her and approach right? Well... usually when I do this some unfortunate event happens like she walks into a women's bathroom, gets right in line for some coffee, or starts talking to a cashier, or she's just walking way too fast that if I wanted to catch up I'd have to start lightly running.

Maybe some of these are excuses but the point is I hate that I can't approach a cute girl that I see on the fly. I believe that's what it means to take the opportunities you see. The thing is there's such a small window of time for me to make my move, if I back out of that window of opportunity I may just lose it completely in the next couple seconds. I know this is kind of one of those just do it type things but does anyone have any tips on this?
