I’ve been playing league for 5 years and highest I’ve been is platinum, I’m 21 and still haven’t had my first kiss let alone a date. This is a hard game but seddit is the guide I need.

I don't play too many games anymore, but I totally agree with the gist of the post.

Partly how I became so successful was by basically treating every interaction as a "game." I didn't need to win the game, but as long as I was able to play it, that counted as a success.

I followed Mystery's original shit from the book, back in the day, and who'd'a thunk, it actually fuckin worked!!

Nowadays, I just try to stay true to myself, but I still look at most interactions as a sort of "game" -- you don't need to win it, you just need to have fun with it.

You could say the same for life itself -- we're all just playing Minecraft and seeing what we can build. We're also dealing with weird vampire shit that slowly kills us. We drown in water, and we also get our voices drowned in conversation.

The girls tend to like the guy who can speak the loudest, believe it or not. Also helps if he's the tallest, and generally handsome. I'm generally handsome, so I've got a long history with girls, but I'm not very tall (5'9") and my looks have faded with age. As a kid, I had bleach-blonde hair, and every old lady would walk by and run her fingers through my hair. Then I was on the swim team, and my hair has been garbage ever since.

Through the first 2 years of high school, I was basically a social outcast, and people actively disliked me. Then I realized that I could become a better version of myself (what would Brad Pitt do?), and I did it. I then went out-of-state for college, and basically reinvented myself there. My nickname was skeeter, because I "skeeted" on all my sheets.

If there was a game that was really hard and when you lost you'd, for example, lose your right hand, would you "keep practicing" because you'd eventually stop sucking at it and wouldn't lose your right hand anymore?
