How were your first approaches?

I was so nervous I would be shaking. My presence and vocal projection was so bad people would just ignore me. It took me thousands of approaches to feel comfortable. I still get a nervous / excited energy when I approach but I've had enough success to know that it's more than worth it.

I got laid on my first ever legit night game approach after reading material for about 4 months. I opened by pretending to be her date!

HOWEVER, If you think i'm bragging, I've spent the next year and half getting shot down (rejected) left and right like 99% of the time :)

I've only done one true cold approach with a direct opener and it was meh. All my first approaches were indirect and then we get talking, which I find works better for me.

I actually did the smart thing and indirectly approached 4 girls in 4 days. Got 3 of their numbers. I never really cold approach on streets because it's so darn hard to tell if they're 14 or 20 nowadays. I started from daygame and then went into night game. Night game is better if you wanna approach as many girls as possible. You blend in and all the guys are pretty much doing the same thing. Daygame is more relaxed and slow and can be more awkward. Usually, It took me 30 minutes to find an eligible girl to approach.

After years of lurking here and pussying out, I made my first approach the past weekend. I got her number, we chat and try to set up a date, but she ghosted me. I am happy I balled up and made the approach though!

My absolute first approaches when I was in high school weren't so bad, confidence was stupidly high back then. Now that I'm back in the pool and fresh off, I was awkward as fuck when I first approached. I would stutter and not make eye contact and do that awkward grimace-smile that people do in a professional environment when nobody has anything to say.

I can't say I'm much better yet, but I do make more eye contact and it does wonders, along with slowing down on what I want to say to the girl.

I always have a lot of success, but I seem to be good at suppressing any jitters and get into the flow pretty quickly. A girls smile really relaxes me when I'm talking to her. My first time (years ago) was a librarian, she warmed up to me immediately and we had a 2 year relationship which was very sexual but a bit stormy. Worth it.

I have done it twice, both times the girl seemed neutral but slightly positive, even if she had a boyfriend. However just today I told a guy I liked his shoes and we talked all the way to our cars, never met before.

I need to try more girls in cold approach I'm just "in my head" too much

First ones were horrible AA with hours of weaseling but when finally approaching (direct) confident but mostly with brain freeze after opener. After 20 sets things started to flow. Go direct to train the hard opening (Roosh says opening direct is socially the hardest thing a man can do). But WTF you were cute? That is incongruent and beta almost creepy (hate that word but it fits here). She is cute thats why you talking.

My first approaches were great and memorable because I had already just overcame anxiety approach.

How I did it was uniquely. I actually wrote a series originally inspired by nostalgia that has to two major characters, male and female. I guess in a way, I was the male character because I can literally feel with he feels. With the story's intimacy moments, that really knocked me to my senses.

My first approaches were the most platonic thing you can imagine. not man to woman whatsoever. Before that the whole idea of cold approaching seemed so outside of my world. I have come a long way in less than a year. looks like you waited way too long to start doing your first approaches.

The first time was with a fobby Asian girl who might have been in her late 30s (my neighborhood is full of them).

I said something similar to your opener. Full of anxiety. Legs were shaking. Unable to project my voice, though we were in a library so it wasn't that bad. I actually was able to have a semblance of a conversation with her, and even though I pretty much ejected after a short while, I left feeling super exhilarated that the world didn't end and that it could only get better from there.

What's funny is that these days I wouldn't even consider someone like her attractive enough to approach, which kinda sucks because I miss that sense of wonder. Maybe I should try to reclaim it....

You should embrace and enjoy being a newb. I pretty much never get approach anxiety these days, which makes things less exciting.

Mine was nerve-wrecking, but funny as fuck to look back at. My friends were filming me at a boba place approaching groups of girls asking if they wanted to be in my video. This one group we approached ended up wanting to be in the video and they were a very receptive set of three girls haha.

Now, if my friends weren't there with me, I probably would have never done those.

I can already you are being too logical by asking exactly after how many. This varies from person to person, it's just really letting go dude and being comfortable. The further I am going in game the more I am unlearning pick up and learning how to be more genuine.
