Same with me. I locked eyes with this guy that came into my job. He has initiated conversations sometimes when he comes in and I can respond but sometimes he waits for me to initiate conversation I freeze up.

just assume she just doesnt like you. the real thing is to not give af, then it doesnt matter whatever the reason is. I think this advice only matters if the guy still gets upset about rejection, which should not be the mindset.

Yeah...Nope. Rejection physically hurts instantly if you are not desensitized to it after lots of practice. There is not much you can do to rationalize it away, Knowing that what you said can happen, helps no one.

So... this comes at an odd time. I just had a second date that ended at my place with us enjoying a nice joint. I went for the kiss and while she seemed receptive she also was backing away.

I could see her getting a bit flustered and saying she had to go. I wonder if she got nervous.

Good grief! All this nervousness is a direct result of limited interpersonal communication. I blame all the social media platforms that limit your time around people and reduce you to nothing more than a thumbs up or down.

My experience in high school was a lot of girls being nervous talking to me. I lost my 6 pack in college so not so much now. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is a fear most everyone has. But I’ve gotten a lot better over time. It takes practice, just like anything else. Talk to people and socialize with them without any expectations of romance. Talk to everyone. Young, old, anyone. Yes, you will feel a little extra nervous if it’s someone you find attractive, but through practice, it will be easier to calm those nerves.

Shy and nervous girls are cute BTW

Back in my single days, I started noticing this a lot after I started to get decent at "pickup" or whatever you want to call it. Girls get just as nervous as dudes pretty often. It explains a lot of my "failures" along the way that I couldn't understand at the time.

Ya I get it.I don't get why we both can feel that way though. Maybe you both just weren't ready for such a moment. Maybe this crap happens 99% of the time. Maybe it's that 1% ahole who doesn't reject people kindly that ruins it for the rest of us? Who knows. I know I fell for someone recently, went a little overboard, and i'm thinking they lost interest wonder if they're thinking some counter-intuitive wish it was different stuff. I wish!!
