Your description is plenty, that’s all wild. Relationships are just you and another person acting human toward each other. All of this noise is kooky and bad advice, they usually involve a germ of something sort of reasonable then blow up way too far it to the n’th degree. Courtship should be mutual.

That is what dating is for. To see if the person you are dating fits what your standards are. You go on dates you get to know them and figure things out. Not sit there and make someone have to PROVE why they should be with you. That's such a narcissistic take on it.

This is basically the same bioessentialist framing the RP uses, just less overtly confrontational. Women as passive receivers and men as the ones who actually do things is...pretty inaccurate when you look at how most straight relationships actually work.

As a woman, I have much more to lose if I invest in a man who has no intention of reciprocating than a man does if he's checked out of a relationship.

Roe vs Wade has been repealed and there's no guarantee I could end an unwanted pregnancy, for one. The social stigma around being a single mom, the lost wages from being a SAHM, the sheer amount of physical and emotional labor I'm expected to do (that my potential husband is either excused from entirely or lionized for doing the bare minimum of)...

A man who isn't willing to prove his sincerity by investing in the relationship at the outset is a bad risk. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect men who want relationships with women to prove that they can do the absolute minimum in light of the massive disparity in expectations for straight women in marriage.

If a woman pursues them, then it adds to their desirability

If a woman gives up on them/walks away, they can say she didn't try hard enough

If women don't pursue them, they can say women don't have a good judgement on men and chase superficial traits

This is again another case where they pretend "reversing the gender" is a genius argument. Normally, men have to prove themselves as safe because women are always at a physical disadvantage.

Well the thing about that dissonance is that its based on their feeling and not any logic. Id say there is a good argument as to why women should be the initiators but it sure as hell isnt for egotistical reasons like these.

Showing genuine interest in a man you like isn't masculine. If he's worth it, go for it.

Men are not chasing women cause most of the time ya'll "act hard to get" "don't resepoicate love" "haven't gotten over your ex" "5 guys in roster" etc...

It's just bunch of headaches, so the best move for a guy to make in 2024 and beyond is to go for women who show high interest
