I don't know where you live but the truth is that when they say that "Reddit is not real life" rather than meaning that what's on Reddit is fiction, it means that people in real life generally don't share their viewpoints.

Women essentially do not need or want to understand what men suffer because in the end, they live in cognitive solipsism. The interests of both sexes are diametrically opposed, and you, as men, if you are not useful for procreation, you must be useful to sacrifice for them or, failing that, be a scapegoat.

Here in Spain, the country where I am from, The experience of other first world countries is not different; As a gay man, perhaps I have the advantage of having women as friends and what you can hear from the normal, average heterosexual man, well, logically it is the worst, sometimes worse, it is much better or much worse depending on what is considered, since the man who does not stand out is an invisible man.

The slogan is “ mens issues only come up to invalidate women’s issues” which as you can clearly see is totally bogus. In fact, it is quite the opposite. You try to express how you’ve been mistreated based on your gender and you are instantly silenced by women who feel that their suffering is more important.

What is happen is when it comes to dealing with a lot of today's relationships, especially here in the west, it is so damaged to the point that it is not even funny.

When a lot of men point out their bad experiences in dating and relationships, there are some girls (not all) who blame individuals on many factors which are beyond their control.

People are trying to point out how you need to look beyond a person being a looksmaxxed stud and like people for who they are as a whole. Be with your spouses no matter what. Even when they are sick and when they are barely moving.

We shouldn't be called out for politically correct reason, but our media here in the West is damaged.

But good people will prevail at the end of the day!

I have gone through a lot of what you describe, and I have sympathy. Being told that we are disposable is depressing and scary.

This is what it feels like when your group starts being discriminated against. It sucks, but, in fairness, other groups have been discriminated against viciously in the past, and they made it through.

It is not right, and we need to make counter-moves (adjusting our life strategies). The only way they beat us is if we can't figure out how to swim in these new waters.

One of that worst parts of that last bit is the loneliness, which is why forums like this one are so important.

I’m glad our community exists. We’re all we need and we’re all we got. Don’t just end it because of a negative environment. There’s still a beautiful world for us and so much to do. We need a place just for us built by us and for us where we can freely be men and not be ashamed to be a man and not be criticized for our traits or activities.

I’d rather females explicitly tell us what they think of us because at least I know not to interact with them. I go out of my way to not interact with the opposite gender and if it were up to me, I won’t help a female at all other than if my job requires it. I’m all for females being around bears, sharks, cobras, or whatever dangerous animal. I’d rather hang out with my bros than deal with someone that hates my existence.

A lot of people put on social media stuff they wouldn’t say in front of other people they feel like they are safe to do so.

Apart from that I have been hearing more and more comments directed towards and about men in my daily life coming from women that I know from work and personal life.

Unfortunately it’s becoming more of an issue for us now than it has been in the past

Men, it’s time to stop giving a fuck. Marcus Aurelius once said, “You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.”

Study these words. I’m 30 years old, single and dated some terrible women, but I’m not gonna let their shitty behaviour and negative views of the world shape who I am. I made a promise to myself to always give people the benefit of the doubt, but they must earn my respect.

There is so much hate towards men yes, but the tides are changing. I can feel it and will be nothing but a positive vessel to encourage that change. We are MEN and somewhere along the way we have let the naysayers of the world especially ones online tell us we ain’t shit. Without us, this world wouldn’t be possible.

We built everything you said around you, buildings, planes, trains and cars, the computer on your lap or the phone in your hand. A lot of women have tricked other women into believe a giant lie. Modern feminism is a failure. Focus on being the best you. Tell the truth. Be healthy and prioritise yourself, friends and family.

I think we all are tired of that shit. I for my part deal with it by just rejecting any chivalrous norms women so like to depend on to get by. Feminism has won, we're equal so lift your own heavy shit, pay for your own meal, change your own oil and fix the damn gutters yourself. You told me over and over you don't need me so put your money where your mouth is and deal with everything yourself.

If they don't want to play by the old rules anymore, we won't either.

Focus your attention and goodwill on men, form good friendships and support those who ate worthy of the effort.

I sympathize brother. I had to delete social media for a few weeks a few months ago because I was also frustrated with a lot of the content I was consuming. What really bothered me is how many women chime in and support that type of content, all while being in what appears to be committed relationships with men. The worst are the videos of women publicly shaming their male partners for not being perfect husbands. From sitting in their cars for too long after coming home from work, to asking a question about their new shoes to a grumpy wife. The Swifty content has also been insane lately, where women vilify their own partners just to fulfill some strange victim complex fantasy.

Even in the real world I constantly hear female coworkers and friends put down the entire male gender right in front of me. That to me always breaks my spirit a bit since I’ve never spoken ill about women as a whole like that or put them down or even spoke in any gender war like language in front of them.

My best advice and advice that I even struggle to remember is that not everyone is like this. Not every woman is a misandrist asshole and not every man is some rapist scumbag. We must all do our parts to treat each other like individuals and assume innocence until proven otherwise.

Also, push back on social media! I do it with no shame at this point. I really don’t give a fuck about calling shitty content out. I do it in a way that gets straight to the heart of the matter in a respectful way without vitriol or hate speech either. I do it in a way that almost pleads for a little sanity and compassion. If my friends can’t handle civil discourse when it’s needed they were never friends to begin with.

Hang in there my dude, life is filled with nonstop challenges and navigating around them allows us to develop strength within ourselves.

Hey man same here. I’ve spent my whole life trying to be a decent guy. I try and be a good husband (I have an awesome wife) we split everything 50/50 in our household.

It’s depressing AF still just getting summed up as a POS because I’m a man, I’m also a white man so that doesn’t help out at all either.

Literally 10 years ago when I graduated high school, I was sleeping in a truck. Had nothing, moved away from a stressful environment at home.

Anyways a few years ago I went to talk to a councillor because life had gotten way too stressful. Do you know what that councillor told me after 4 sessions? He said at the end of the day your problems aren’t that bad because you still have white male privilege. (He was phillipino and gay so he had it harder than me?)

Anyways. Don’t beat yourself up. It’s garbage the way society is treating men. Everyone wants their pound of flesh from our generation.

I know you don't like to feel that way I don't either, but the reality of things is that we are in this world by ourself whether different language or culture, this woman empowerment thing took away humility entirely off woman, they haven't realize it, so when they mess up they can't face and accept their failures they believe they had to be right somehow.

Its a crude sad reality we live in, where trust is a scarce resource that's rarer than what your body needs to survive. If your criteria is to distrust women regardless of what or who they are you are doing yourself a favor not the other way around. To keep yourself at bay from danger is primal instinct. Believe in Karma that Hindu belief where bad actions will only be repayed with bad effects for those woman. And if someone does good by you, do good by them, but before that you don't owe them anything.
