How common is it for single women wanting to hookup at weddings?

Probably every other wedding I’ve attended there’s been at least 1 hookup so not everytime but pretty common. Me and my husband fucked in an adjacent ballroom at one but idk if that counts lol. But yes I’ve definitely seen it plenty.

To meet another single guy who is possibly interested in a relationship down the line? Absolutely 100%

It’s very rare. Most of the people there are related so they’re not wanting to hook up with someone else in the family whether it’s by blood or marriage. Also, over the many years I worked in catering (it was my first job) I was surprised to see how many of the attendees were already coupled up (same last name on the table settings/seating chart). It seems most people who go to weddings are already coupled up or brought a plus one and we’re not open to any advancements from a stranger. As for the singles, there were definitely more single women than men that attended but the single women seem to stick more to themselves. They would eat at the same table together, dance on the dance floor together and would watch each other’s glasses when they were drinking. I never caught anyone doing anything naughty at the rehearsal dinner or the after party. Things at weddings are definitely much more tame than what the movie industry portrays.

I think it's the modern equivalent of a Dothraki Wedding, if there isn't one, it wasn't a very good wedding, but, it's not super common either.

It's not really a reason to go to a wedding and sit through the whole thing. Way more efficient to just go to a club or something. It happens but not as the reason to go very often.

No. I’m there to celebrate my friend’s marriage. I may flirt, dance, have fun, but no hooking up. No drunken one night stands seen by half the wedding party. I don’t air my business in public like that.
