Why is it okay for women to generalize and treat men like a monolith?

It depends on the context. It's okay to say that men on average have higher libido, women have higher neuroticism level, men are taller than women, women spend more time on chores and childcare etc. Basically things that are provable for a general population, but even then it's important to remember than "on average" != everyone. It's also okay to say that men/women in your social circle do this or that as long as you remember that another person's experience might be drastically different.

Things like "men are pigs" or "women are the eldest teenagers in the house" aren't okay.

it seems like no matter what you do, say, or have done and been known for as a man (being pro-women and not having toxic masculine traits), women will still treat you as a man-o-sphere type of man, and it's perfectly normal

i feel like this is either the women treating you this way is either imaturity/short-sightedness on their part, or you have behaviors youre not self aware of that makes you seem this way. or both idk.

its like equating feninist with misandrist. some "feminists" are misandrists, while some feminists call themselves such refering to their beliefs that aline with 1st wave feminism etc. everything is nuanced, and not all people see or acknowledge nuance.
