Beginner tips for someone introverted going solo to the night life?

Talk to people who you ARE NOT attracted to first. It opens the gates a bit, is good practice, and makes it easier when you’re in a convo that has actual stakes.

Not just at the bar. Ask an old couple for directions, pretend your phone is broken and ask people what time it is, anything with low stakes.

Accept that you will be uncomfortable the first few times going out solo and that it might be ‘unnatural’. You might be stressed or your might be anxious but remember ☝️it’s all part of the process

You could call me an introverted person as well but that term introvert-extrovert should be used loosely (I believe these terms are more like that INTJ shit, a psychology version of astrology bs). Don’t let that term limit your potential.

IMO no one is 100% introvert or 100% extrovert, it’s more like a spectrum. I even think most people fall into ambivert category, right across the middle (the bell curve thingie).

That being said, night game is basically parties. If you haven’t gone to a rave or a club, you must’ve gone to a birthday party (this is just an analogy). So imagine going to 10-20 birthday parties in a row at 1 night. That’s how you hop on from one group of people to another, and from one club to another. You’d have to be physically and verbally active.

You can go solo, but imagine going to birthday parties solo. That means you gotta befriend and have small talk with people real quick. Not relying on your friend or family members to introduce you to other people or do the opening for you. You gotta do it yourself. Now that’s a question of practice/skill. You can start practicing it by talking to strangers or random people outside during the day.

First: I am about as extroverted as possible, I went to a student night club alone twice and it was exhausting. It is a great experience, but it will be even more exhausting for an introvert. Prepare for this mentally. When it comes to actionable tipps: Make sure to never stand around alone. Start talking to groups, ask about them, introduce yourself, etc. Always leave the conversation before it gets awkward and move on to another group. Your goal should be not to chat up girls (though you can get some numbers along the way), but to have conversations all the time. You ca dance solo too, but use this sparingly.

Second: Are you sure that you are extroverted and not just shy or unaccustomed to conversations? Those are very different things and you have adapt very differently.

Take it slow, you don’t want to fuck up big, it can damage self esteem, take it slow, my first time solo I didn’t talk to anyone I just wanted to get comfortable with being alone at first, my advise go solo until it feels natural

Seconded don't only talk to people you're attracted to. Talk to everyone. Practice being social. If you're a man then men will be easier because you won't even have to think about turning them off because you weren't going home with them anyway. Only if they look approachable of course. If you hear a conversation that's interesting to you you can say hi, I heard you were talking about X. If you catch someone looking at you for more than a second (especially a woman), that's an invitation to go and say hi. I wouldn't even worry about "seduction" until you're comfortable with the environment.

Work up to it. Talk to men and women. Talk to people at the grocery store, gym, while you're walking. Probably Dont go from talking to people, to trying to chat up girls in a loud nightclub on a solo night out.

Many times I see that a beginner has this "special talent" of finding one of the most difficult things to do instead of doing what is easier for them. I don't even know if you're introverted, shy, or have high levels of social anxiety.

The solution is to start talking as soon as you enter a bar to enter a talkative mode, but giving you such advice is like giving someone advice on how to win a fight with a professional fighter.

Even if you prefer your own solo company, you still need to learn proper social skills to get what you want from life. Start small, stay close to girls, get eye contact, smile, read the room. Dress well, use perfume, get a haircut, use deep voice, take proper posture, experiment with different approaching methods, have fun and don't brute force the outcome.

Find a place that is tolerant of lone men. In my country they don't let us inside clubs at all
