Sandhurst is the British Army equivalent of West Point, so this is specifically aimed at Army officers. The non-commissioned ranks will continue to be overwhelmingly male, just with a greater chance their commanders will be female in the future.

We shouldn’t apply for the Army - we deal with conscription registration, hair length requirements, tougher requirements, tougher duties, and more while the women get paid the same as us. Equal pay for unequal work.

They simply won’t be able to get enough women. If they want 30% then the army will massively shrink as a whole.

And on average, women are nowhere near as good at this very physically demanding work, so it’s utterly unreasonable to demand 30%. In some countries the physical requirements have to be stupidly lowered for women - which raises the question, why not less physically capable men whose level is somewhere in between?

They're literally trying to brute force a two tier system to the military just like your average job. Women get a fast track to the cushy office jobs with power and $$$, but they don't want any part of equal representation in the hard jobs.

Why UK men are even joining military? Who you are protecting? Feminism? Politicians? Let them hire only women. They can go fight their war. Learn trade so that during the time of war, you can earn from trade jobs instead of sacrificing yourself for nobody.
