See title - this comment was upvoted numerous times by the Reddit mob. The OP went on to say the following:

"We'd have no public healthcare/long term care/education etc.

No protection of our food etc.

Those are right wing polices throughout the world"

I gave the following response, which was downvoted in nearly equal proportion:

"Pretty insane take to have, lmao.

Edit: That claim about men-only voting instantly leading us back to feudalism is outlandish. Just look at Bismarck’s Germany in the 1880s: health insurance, old-age pensions, and accident coverage all passed under an all-male electorate. Or check Britain’s 1870 Education Act - again, men only - which laid the foundation for universal schooling. The idea that men automatically oppose social programs is lazy, sexist, and flat-out ignores actual history. If you’re downvoting these facts, you’re just proving the original point: you’d rather cling to biases than acknowledge that men have driven some of the biggest social reforms."

We men must be truly horrible people, huh? According to Reddit, men universally want to destroy healthcare, education, and food preservation. This is such an insane take to have. No idea how people can actually go through life with this mindset.

Simultaneously, this seems to be a common theme among liberals, yet they can't seem to figure out why men are shifting to the right. If your entire worldview is that men are evil and inherently flawed, why should men support them? Honestly don't understand the endgame here at all. I say that as a liberal myself.
