On paper I'm solid enough. High education, enough money to spend, got a car, fit and am not stupid around women by all means. Have enough experience by now but unfortunately recently single again.

I am renting a place that's big enough for just myself. A private bathroom, a little kitchen and a combined living/bedroom. Small, but big enough for one person.

Nearing 30, I now also date women who have a career and sometimes even own a house themselves. While their house usually by far ain't paid off and I earn tons more than they do, it feels like they judge me on this because it's tangible. You get me?

Last week I had a girl (who has her own appartment) home and I felt she was comparing my living space to hers. She called it... "cute" but I just felt her comparing everything. The date went well, she wanted to see my place and inside something just felt... off (and no, it's clean and there's no gross stuff around). I got cancelled after. Another girl (also owning a place) I'm dating bluntly asked me, because I'm almost 30, if it wouldn't make sense to get a bigger place by now.

So, what do you guys suggest besides wasting tons of money for a new place I don't need? Back into chasing college girls? lol
