Through my cousin and his buddies I had learned few distinctions that set them apart from most average guys:

  • They look and have an intimidating aura. Not in a sense that they have face tattoos but rather they tend to be fit, somewhat muscular and in general have the vibe as if they can beat any guy in the room if they want to. Even when they are super nice and gentle you ll be vary of having any beef with them. Its not a coincidence that almost all of them took on kickboxing, mma, wrestling or other martial arts in the past.

  • They dress sharp and look distinct from other guys. In pretty much every event I have been with them they look out of place. Most guys are intimidated to dress up and express their sex appeal. Most guys also tend to dress for comfort. You ll rarely see a player in t shirt and cargo shorts outside of the comforts of his home or specific occassions. From their sense of style, accessories to cologne they look and smell sharp.

  • They are really good at introducing themselves, making small talks and acting friendly. Even if their nice and polite demenour may seem fake after a while, they will make you feel heard and understand upon first impression. You will rarely see them act hostile, raise their voices or appear with a sour face.

  • They are busy... you never be certain if they show up at certain occassions, when they do they either are late or leave early. Players usually have a lot of things going on in their day or merely make it seem like as if they do. They don't linger in a place for too long and if it does not catch their interest simpy leave early. That way only memory you would usually have about them would be of a positive and friendly guy. They build enough familiarity with women to approach while also remaining somewhat distant to be categorized in a friendzone. They know that they have options and merely testing the waters.

  • When it comes to body language there are also key differences. Insecure guys in general tend to walk at faster pace, avoid eye contacts , take up less space and like to avoid any confrontations. In social settings they are more likely to keep it to themselves, act more eager to help or please others. Players in general tend to walk slower, enjoy the moment, talk less and when they talk they don't have to repeat themselves. They are comfortable in silence and in awkward situations as well.

  • Insecure or inexperienced men are intimidated by aggressive, strong or good looking guys, especially when around women they are interested in. They will also tend to be somewhat tense and hostile around such guys. Players on the other hand tend to have other player friends and upon meeting new group of people will establish firm contact with the most popular guy or a girl there is. They do not see other men as competition but rather an ally for their own social life.
