Hey everyone,

I was a frequent reader in MRP, and took awhile to build myself up to where I am today.

Read: NMMNG, WISNIFG, TRM, MMSLP, MAP, Pook’s Currently, im married going on 6 years, two kids (3 year old and 7 month old).

I am the managing partner of a law firm and make lower mid six figures. I sit on four large organizational board of directors and run a lot of events, including a miss Vietnam pageant where I’m in charge of training and helping the royal court girls learn how to network, interact with important people, politicians, and philanthropists. I frequently do the news and media appearances with them, and am well known and respected in my local area.

Because of my positions and status, I get a lot of attention from women, which instills lot of dread in my wife, and sex/attraction has never really been an issue. I want it, I get it.

Despite all of this, there is still one area where there are issues, and it’s with disrespect when she’s either insanely jealous or when she gets mad about a little thing and can’t control her anger and explodes.

When she explodes, she will throw something, and I’ve made it clear that I won’t tolerate that kind of behavior, and will disengage and ignore her when it starts. After a day or so she usually ends up coming around and apologizing.

But i hate that it happens in the first place and i don’t want it to get to that point, especially since it scares our daughter. It’s not too frequent, but If it weren’t for the kids, i probably would’ve walked away by now. The wife is a good mom and everything else is fine except for her temper tantrums. To be honest, emotionally speaking, a divorce is something I would be open to, but I’m pretty traditional and want my kids to have a family.

Any opinions on how i draw a boundary here to cut off the temper tantrums? Any more information you’d like for context?
