I have been holding on to anger for 20 years towards my ex wife. I don’t/ won’t look at the reality of a marriage that’s over and was really a marriage on paper only. My saying I’m angry is a way of me saying I’m obsessed instead of saying I’m hurt and won’t process those feelings. We weren’t right for each other, I wasn’t a friend to her or share and open up, or listen to her. She didn’t like me or love me and I can’t say I loved her or share either.

I turn my hut into anger and then I point it at an innocent person in my life who hasn’t done anything to deserve it and she is not the one who hurt me. I won’t direct it at myself, I’m the one who made a decision to marry someone who wasn’t right for me or me right for her, or direct anger at my ex for her part in the demise of the marriage.

Is there anyone who they themselves or someone they know that held onto their hurt and turned it into anger to try and not feel the hurt and what they did to let it go.
