It makes you wonder why some men find redpill/tradcon stuff so appealing. I get being anti feminist, feminism in its current form is certainly harmful to working class men. But I dont understand why that has to come with hatred for both women and men in different ways.

From what I’ve seen, men generally get the same sort of dismissive “pull yourselves up by your bootstraps” response across most of the political scene which most would normally just expect from more conservative ideologies.

I think it's a bit tough to totally untangle. For a long time, one of my closest friends was a sorta newage hippy-type woman who was constantly encouraging me to walk away from society and put my faith in the universe. She was a moderately attractive white woman in her late 20s or early 30s, so her experience of hitchhiking and homelessness was to get to a gas station, stand there with a cardboard sign saying she was broke or out of gas, when she had a vehicle. It was not uncommon for her to make several hundred dollars in a few hours.

I was fairly reluctant to become homeless, for obvious reasons, but I finally hit a point where I was so broke and out of options I just went for it. I'm a skinny white able-bodied male that also wears a lot of dark colors, and it's difficult to describe my experiences with both panhandling and hitchhiking. I'm not sure I ever did earn any money - ANY money - maybe like $3 or $4 over the span of a month or two. You are also viewed with contempt or even outright hatred instead of sympathy or compassion. It comes up in hitchhiking, too, where it was assumed I was some sort of serial killer. Not sure I ever did get a ride, either.

So it's tricky. While I believe in the beauty of the world and that people are capable of much goodness, if you're a guy, no one's going to help. If you're down and out or struggling, you're viewed as pathetic at best and most likely an active threat. In my experience, if you rely on the kindness or generosity of strangers, you're going to die, and it's not going to be a pretty death either.

So although it's not right or fair, I'm not certain that men-as-a-class will ever get sympathy from society as a whole, and I'm not sure it's even a good use of your time to try.

This is why tradcons / anti feminists are not truly egalitarian. All they do is romanticise about "the good old days" and want boy's/ men to go back to that era. A boy/ man who doesn't fit the criteria of a "real man" is seen as a failure.

Also tradcon women are just as bad.

This is mainly an American problem. We are quite dysfunctional when it comes to gender identities. I am a white het American male who married a woman from Thailand. I've spent a lot of time there and talked about this issue with her and other Thais. From the outside, their culture is very macho and "patriarchal" (literally, as in they have a king).

But from the inside, they exhibit a far more balanced, "natural" approach to gender roles. If you're a straight dude, you talk like a straight dude (by ending every sentence with "khrap"). If you're a gay dude, you talk like a straight female (by ending every sentence with "kha") and nobody has a problem with that (every Thai TV show has at least one flamingly gay dude). If you're a gay female, well, you're basically invisible, but tolerated.

As for the perception that Asian women are "passive", I have some bad news for you. They are much stronger and self-possessed than most American white women (i.e., typical feminists), without having to act like men. They don't get offended easily and love to flirt. They get that dudes are different from them and are into different kinds of activities---and they have no problem with that (and vice versa).

I always feel safer and more relaxed over there, because everyone knows their place. This is what red-pillers mean by "hierarchy", a concept which the Left seems to intentionally sweep under the rug (at best), or excoriate as a kind of original sin (at worst). I'm no fan of Jordan Peterson, but his lobster analogy is basically on point: Nature is fundamentally hierarchical.

But red-pillers become man- and thus self-haters because they are so afraid of homosexuality. They have been taught, by our predominantly Christian culture, to hate it. They equate it with filth and weakness. (This is also true with the overtly patriarchal Islamics, which share the same fucked up Old Testament belief systems.) It's so sad and tragic for everyone involved.
