Don't move out. It might hurt you in the divorce. Move into a separate room. If you only have a 2-room house, either buy bunk beds for the kids' room and stay in here or sleep on the couch.

Sitting in my car right now waiting on gigs just to be out of the house.

Started driving UBER and delivering Instacart to just be doing something away from the house.

Mainly weekends are the killer for me.

Yes, I did this in my SUV. Sleeping in rest areas and Walmart parking lots was tough. Showered at friends and truck stops. Just remember it’s a lot easier to move out than it is to return. If you can find a safe space in your home I’d stay long as you can. She will likely leave and sooner than you think if she has the means.

Ugh bro. Am sorry dude. I went through similar- slept in my suv for a month. It is doable….just hard. Especially if it’s cold, snowing or raining.

If you have no kids and can manage it, it can really help you save up a healthy nest egg over 6 months to a year. Look up videos on YouTube. Apps like IOverlander can help you find spots to park overnight. Gym for showers, good luck!

I hear you brother. Divorced two years, just lost my job am probably going to have to sell my house to pay the mortgage on the kids house and move into my truck. $700/month car note is a lot easier to swallow that a $2500/month mortgage.
