I feel that a big problem is how we treat masculinity and femininity. How many times have we heard the term "toxic masculinity"? How many examples of toxic men are we given? Compare this to "positive masculinity" or "toxic femininity". Can you name specific examples of either? And how do the positive versions of masculinity and femininity compare to each other? If you drew a Venn Diagram, how much of an overlap would there be? And how do either differ from healthy humanity?

The lack of nuance and the ubiquity of "toxic masculinity" reinforces the message that men are toxic and need to be managed for the good of society. We need to better examine these terms and set consistent rules and meanings to them.

Honestly I think an understated part of the problem is calling the movement for equality “feminism”.

It’s bound to make some people feel like they have license to act like they are inherently better than others, because they are the “fem” in “feminism”.

(Obviously there are much larger, and more pressing, issues, but I’ve never seen this point addressed in a satisfactory way.)

If we truly want boys to turn into men with just values and common decency, we will not get there by alienating an entire gender. In fact doing so will lead to the opposites and push boys and young men further into misogynistic ideologies as they no longer feel represented by the left who actively despises them.

Even aside from that, we've had studies since at least the 90's showing that the more you expose racial minority children to racist stereotypes, the more the likelihood increases that they will internalize and take on a resemblance to those stereotypes. And the people who promote this relentless stereotyping of men most aggressively are the same people who are most likely to be aware of this well established social science. Which reinforces to me that they just don't care, because their motivation is simply hatred, which overrides any constructive aim.

and I'm all for boys and men, girls and women not being mutilated without their consent. (but funny thing is that, girls and women would never give a shit about boys and men's suffering and mistreatment)

I would never understand the reason why doing sexual harassment and violence on men's genital is normalized?

Modern women are turning on each other. Look at all the women on social media decrying that men are not approaching. You’re hearing the loudest voices that live on Reddit and subreddits because they’re bitter and no one‘s taking them out on dates because they’re so angry at men. I’m sure you’ve noticed feminism is slipping away from most women. These misandrists are doing more for men’s rights activists and the patriarchy than any male institution could.

I just found this sub by accident. Don't know a lot of it but so far seems to fit to what I want. It feel like those Right Wing side does appear to help men, in the sense that they recognize men issues but I don't like their solution. Usually is to conform to the traditional masculinity model which I dislike. And impose on men standards that hurts us.

Some of the feminist or left space also hate men and see men as the problem, all men issue are either nonexistence or "who set the system up". Certainly not me, I was not born during that time. Ignore female privilege and claim male privilege everywhere. Depends on countries some is true but in most western countries and my country this is not the case.

So I feel like there's no sub that suits me in this regard. But so far with some browsing I agree with what this sub says.

Of course this sub is mentioned in other space as an incel women hating sub which I find to be not true.

In an ideal world you would be right. But unfortunately we live in a patriarchal society and misogyny is on the rise. Your views are playing into the hands of the misogynists. We can be feminists without hating men.
