I’m curious how people feel about the idea that gender ideologies that discourage natalism are self-eliminating? The common counter-arguments I’ve heard claims the social contagion of those beliefs will convert others to those ideas, especially in regards to social grievances. However, I have never seen precedent of this happening historically. More likely, in my opinion, the ‘social contagion’ metaphor may prove more directly analogous to actual contagions, with peaks and troughs like actual diseases were historically. If seen from that perspective and assuming that anti-natalist beliefs would eventually be stigmatized like diseases, due to the societal burden of lopsided age demographics, it could be assumed that eventually such beliefs would eventually be counteracted like diseases have been in recent history.

To be clear, when I talk about anti-natalistic beliefs, I mean any belief that harms gender cohesion, such as radical feminism or red/black pill, not just pure antinatalism.
