I'm sure you were aware of that, but here's my anecdote to prove it.

Its the mid 2000's. I was a junior in high school.

I was driving a beat up early 90's Thunderbird. As a smaller coupe, it was nothing special. Just a beater I used to get to school. It was the end of the year, so everyone started to give less of a shit. It was the end of the school day. Everyone was rushing out of the school, trying to beat the inevitable traffic. 5 minutes after school was out, I hopped into my car and headed out. To get out of the parking lot, there was always a large line of cars waiting. I pull up and look left and right. The exit is out onto a hill, so my right turn would point me downwards.

I pull out, drive about 15 feet and stop behind the next car in line. A few seconds later, someone slams into me. It was a girl from my class, driving her SUV Jimmy. The girl behind her had rear ended her, then pushed her into me.

I get out to asess the damage. Theres no damage to my Thunderbird, and no damage to her SUV from the accident. On her hood, well above the level of my bumper, is large dent. That damage was from long before the current situation. I hop in my car and drive away.

A few hours later, the police show up at my house. This is what the girl that hit me, as well as the other girl who hit her, told the police officer:

"He, like, wildly swerved out in front of me (girl A)! I had to slam on my brakes, but I still hit him! Then she (girl B) hit me!"

She also tried to blame the previous dent in her hood on me. The officer took a look at my bumper, looked at me, then said "It looks like were done here. Sorry for the inconvenience." As you can see, these girls had no sense of accountability. They saw a man they could use as a scapegoat, but they tried and failed.

Don't give these manipulative cunts an inch, because they'll take a mile and then blame you for not giving more.
