Gotta love how she's been with this guy almost 5 years and still manages to blame this sub which has only been around...2?

TRP: traversing time and space to ruin relationships. /s

EDIT: Dat Dark Triad game, tho.

Well its gotta be someone's fault cuz it sure as hell isn't the woman's.

Dude! That's classified TRP material! What if the heroes of TBP find out?

[–]TheSKSpecial 15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's like Reddit's version of Godwin's Law.

"As a discussion about relationships grows longer, the probability of bringing up TRP approaches 1."

Call it GayLubeOil's Law.

Also notice how she never actually dumped him. She subtly tries to hide this fact, but even after all that "abuse" she still intended on getting back with him. She still called. She still planned on reaching out to him at the end.

But the guy eventually ended the deal on his own, meaning that she was still satisfied with the whole thing. This is another case of "look at her actions, not her words".

[–]nourathrowway 34 points35 points36 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Yep, tried to get back with him the moment he said Boo after he PUNCHED her. Wtf. Only reason she didnt is that her brother prevented her. Zero female agency.

Thanks TRP for finally explaining this bizarre and idiotic behavior. Dude's actions were totally reprehensible but there he is getting rewarded by girls for it.

Funny how you'll see relationships where the woman dumps a man in an instant because he didn't buy her the right brand of flowers on Valentine's Day, but will stay with a physically abusive drunkard for a half a decade.

I tried to prove this concept to my wife for about 2 months and she refused to believe women would tolerate that. I ended up reading her the fan mail to all the serial killers that women would send in and then going through all the chris brown fan love from women asking him to beat them. I overwhelmed her with evidence and now she accepts trp and even posts on redpillwomen.

No, that isn't true. The guy didn't end the deal on his own.

Her brother ended it for her. So yeah, a man made the decision since she couldn't make one on her own.

[–]1Zackcid 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

lol, a third party cannot actually break off a relationship. It's between the guy and the girl, only. Sure, he may have stopped her from seeing the guy, but in this moment, both of them wanted to get back together. When she never showed up, the bf dumped her and never wanted to see her again.

The point is: if it weren't for the brother, she'd still be with him.

[–]1 Endorsed Contributormordanus 45 points46 points47 points 12 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Things like this always make me skeptical. Anytime someone wants to paint a bad pic for the subreddit they make up a bad boyfriend or something and say he was redpiller. They reek of attention whoring. I'm not saying all of this is bs but it sure smells like it.

[–]1Zackcid 64 points65 points66 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Women are very socially attuned. They know the power of social reputation/opinion and social rejection. It's wired in their brains (just look at how conformist women tend to be. They want to be just like everybody else because it's safe).

By plugging in how her bf read "TRP", she's trying to sway the public opinion to her cause. By first painting her boyfriend as Satan, she conveniently plugs in TRP so that people associate TRP with the Devil the next time our sub pops up in their minds. Women hate trp so much, they want everybody else to get on board.

[–][deleted] 23 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And nobody realizes that she had been with the guy way before this sub existed. Man, back in my BP days I used to be all indignant about people's bias and stupidity, but now I'm thankful. Less competition, for everything.

[–]Endorsed Contributorgekkozorz 26 points27 points28 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Which is also the same reason women always call us rapists. Sure we haven't actually raped anybody or advocated for rape in any way, but the term "rapist" carries a powerful negative stigma, so they just stick it on us and the stigma does their work for them.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

There is also some projection going on, because every woman I have been intimate with has had a rape fantasy. They want to be forced, be submissive, have the man 'take' them and do as he pleases. They don't want the brutal violent rape by an unattractive male, they want the romance novel version.

They want it so they project it on us that we do it.

[–]Endorsed Contributorgekkozorz 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yep. It's anti-PC as fuck to acknowledge this, but science and AskHamsters alike have confirmed this fact many, many times.

Obviously that's not to say anyone wants to get dragged behind a dumpster and fucked by some filthy bum. But given the right situation, most women would absolutely love to be taken without giving her necessarily giving "affirmed consent" or whatever rape culture fanatics call it.

[–]boredinclass2 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The sub has been around about 18 months. Her story is about a PAST relationship that lasted 5 years. The timescales barely add up, TRP didn't have any real kind of publicity until the first 5,000 subs, which was atleast 6 months in. After publicity it grew to 51,000 in the next 12 months. For all intents and purposes, RP as a boogeyman and 90% of its membership is less than about a year old.

http://redditmetrics.com/r/TheRedPill

Even if we ignore that though. Everything she describes next speaks against her, and pretty much FOR redpill ideas.

Everything. That breakup story is just gold.

Her ex may not be following any redpill recipe, but that dynamic between them is completely explained and a pretty cliché caricature of dark triad and how women fall for it. Which where I'm guessing she assumed he was an avid reader of redpill. Because we correctly identify this phenomenon, she automatically assumes we came up with it or implanted that instinct into her. No, OP. Its been around for a long time.

I also love how she threw /r/MensRights into the pile of random hate. It tells us how she's just using third hand accounts of things she has no idea about and purposefully trying to string them together into a concentrated ball of hate. It reminds me of politicians using buzzwords to rile up a crowd. Mensrights for feminists and slander in general and TheRedPill for everyone else. I'm guessing it took her more than 12 months to get her head on straight and get her attraction-bias for him out of her system enough to view him objectively. She's just using every device in the book she can to get herself as angry as she can. Deny her agency. Hamster 101.

But I remember feeling so dirty and awful about it. I think it could be considered date-rape.

For a long time, I've wondered what this feeling women often got after quick sex. Why was it that they'd feel dirty after sex. And why would they feel dirty and awful about it anyway, since they engaged in it consensually and whatnot? Well, something happened in my life a couple years ago that finally allowed me to empathize with this feeling. I'm convinced that my experience is the male equivalent to women feeling dirty after sex.

I was at the gym. I somehow got into an interaction with this short, 45+ year old woman. Being the chump that I was, I was just happy with getting the IOIs she was sending me and practicing kino on her. The focus then got away from gym-related topics and we began talking about life, politics, relationships, etc.

This shit dragged on for over Two hours. Just me and her, face-to-face talking about shit I barely cared about. I could tell she loved talking about her neighbors crazy relationship and whatnot. I eventually looked at the time and we parted ways.

For the next couple days, I felt disgusted with myself. I regretted it all. I felt dirty with myself, like I had been taken advantage of by a short, ugly troll. I had wasted 2 precious hours of my life on some old hag, talking about shit that she enjoyed.....for free!

I felt like a time-hoe. I gave her my time for free and I felt dirty about it afterwards. I hated it. And this is probably how these women feel after giving away sex early, for free. They only wish they woulda gained more from it. They (and I) felt exploited because they feel the other party gained more out of it than themselves.

[–]1KingofRiders 20 points21 points22 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I agree totally with you on this, this kind of rule governs most human interactions I think.

I usually feel time-raped after most conversations in real life to be honest. Most people I talk to aren't interested in knowledge or gaining something from the conversation. For most people conversations are an emotional form of sex, they just want to be happy and talk about stupid happy shit. If I wanted to have sex I'd go fuck a girl in the ass, I wouldn't talk to you about your new programming job for 2 hours. But its my fault, I let myself be easily guilted and feel like I owe them a bit of time. I converse with people like a woman who sleeps with too many men. Wow... I feel really disappointed with myself right now thinking about it like this. No more emotional guilt conversations for me anymore.

[–]1FloranHunter 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not even time-wasting, I've felt dirty after sex (I'm male). She wasn't attractive and I wouldn't have done it sober. Still not rape though (sadly, not obvious to feminists).

[–]kinklianekoff 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think you touch on something important here. What is womens commodity and what do they want to trade it in for? Sex for resources mainly, but also feelings. For men they have resources and by extension commitment and feelings and they want sex.

So when a woman gives away sex too easily and gets the shoulder in bed and a quick clap on the head before hurrying out the door the morning after she will feel like crap. She has done a really bad trade if there is no reciprocation.

What does women do when they feel bad? Hamster. "We had sex really quickly! I was drunk! I dont do that! It must have been against my will! RAEP"

[–]needsomehelp3211[S] 110 points111 points112 points 12 years ago* (30 children) | Copy Link

Two take-home points here.

1: False accusations of rape aren't just the ramblings of some tinfoil hat on r/mensrights, they actually happen. Just look at how this chick defined rape. Make sure to protect yourself from such accusations. Have a good alibi. Be prepared to fight in court. It can happen to you.

2: Over 2,000 people upvoted this shit. This is a pretty good indicator of how many omega males there are squatting on the default subs.

[–]Cryocasm 54 points55 points56 points 12 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

I think it's fucking ridiculous that modern day society allows women to get away with false rape accusations. Just the other day my sister just casually said "if I really don't like him or he did something really bad like cheat on me, I can just say he raped me", this on the topic of relationships. I just kind of twitched at that.

How is this condoned? You might say I'm a misogynist, but women having the ability to just casually say "he raped me" and it actually having an affect on the man is just batshit insane. The same goes for deceptive conception of children, ie. getting the jizz out of the rubber and shoving it up her cunt in order to harvest cash from a wage slave, which is nothing more than creating a legally bound beta provider.

It's come far enough nowadays that the legal system has to bow down to untruth out of fear of being taken on the world stage in the press because they gave a man right, which would fuel feminists all over the planet because of "how unjust it is". They've got us in a deadlock with their cunts, we need to get out quick.

[–]rico_montoya 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

Curious about other's thoughts on preventing the 'rape' claim.

I mention to people I bring over that I have security cameras in my flat. I record my room while I'm at home. Not that I'm into watching the tapes for any self-gratification, I just figure it's better to get hit with an "illegal recording" charge than a fucking rape charge. And it's absolute bullshit that it's even come to that.

Any other advice/input out here on how to prevent this shit from going down?

[–]AmazingFlightLizard 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Do you ACTUALLY have the cameras, or is this just a thing you say? I'm genuinely curious.

[–]rico_montoya 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Always flush your condoms.

[–]Planner_Hammish 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

I guess a big plumbing bill is worth avoiding a rape charge... Just take them with you and dispose in the trash at home. Condoms will fuck up your plumbing, your sewer connection and/or the city's sewer.

[–]1Mikesapien 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Or that. Either way, dispose of the specimen. Bury it if you have to.

We really ought to develop a condom that dissolves after a few hours like Spider-Man's webbing.

Scientists, get on that.

[–]Cryocasm 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If you have no connection to your little men (the sperm), you might as well put some vodka into the condom, tie it off, and shake it a bit. If you have rubbing alcohol or spermicide on hand, even better. The point is that you kill the sperm so you can soundly sleep in her bed before taking it with you to your place and disposing of it there.

[–]Sleep-less 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Don't most condoms have spermicide on the inside anyway? I don't buy rubbers without it.

[–]Cryocasm 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Better safe than sorry. Take care of your future because it's yours, not that hoe's.

[–]Sleep-less 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

True. I always fill mine with water and squeeze the opening to make sure it retains water (hasn't split) which also has the side effect of destroying the sperm.

No woman can really have a go at you for "making sure it hasn't split".

I only have time in my life for the things I enjoy. If TRP gives you nightmares, then go take a walk outside. Look at pictures of puppies cuddling kittens. Read a book. Go to the gym. Bake a cake. Listen to music.

But if you hang around here and troll, the only person you are hurting is yourself.

So let me you a favour and escort you out the door. We'll be happier. You'll be happier. The puppies and kittens will be happier. Everyone wins.

This is a common hamster defense mechanism which women employ when there's a guy they're attracted to but can't have. I've seen it first hand myself.

"Ugh, I can't stand it that this guy [who has denied my romantic/sexual advances] is so repulsively and invasive interested in me. I mean, obviously you want my smoking hot body and you would rape me if you had the chance, but something something rape culture, ugh leave me alone you fucking creeper."

Eg, one time I saw a girl hit on a guy at a bar, and when he turned her down, she threw her drink in his face and yelled at the bartender that he was making unwarranted advances on her. Or another time I had a coworker who made unwarranted advances on me, and when I turned her down, she told everyone who would listen that I was her #1 fan and the only reason we weren't dating was because she turned down my advances.

I don't know if it's a lie or a delusion or both, but she can't live in a reality where there's a desirable man who doesn't want to have sex with her, so she has to create a new one that fits her fantasy reality.

[–]jcrpta 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think it's a conscious lie; my wife used to do the exact same thing all the time.

Not in a flirting-with-other-guys way, but in other, more subtle things. If there was the slightest hint of anything happening in our domestic lives she didn't like, she'd mentally rewrite history to make it my fault, tell me why it was all my fault and then swear blind that I was the one who was imagining things.

It's enough to make you question your own sanity, it really is. But it's become rather less common now I've called her out on it on several occasions.

Must be some sort of coping mechanism to deal with the inevitable conflicts that occur when a total lack of ability to take responsibility for anything collides with reality.

[–]Meglomaniac 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That is why its important that while you are alpha, sexual, and strong willed that you maintain a reputation of being respectful.

Then when stuff like that bullshit lands the woman knows its a crack of shit. One of the best things is when a girl goes "I know 100% that im super safe alone with you"

The goal isn't the same as this sub. TRP is about seeing relations between the sexes for what they are. Men's rights is about addressing a legal system that's stacked against us. Changes to unjust laws always start with "whining".

Consider some of the comments:

"So you dated the guy who invented the red pill..."

or

"Certainly sounds like a Redpiller."

or

"I've only recently learned about theredpill but that to me seems like it should be an instant deal breaker. Any dude who isn't immature or a fucking psycho shouldn't even entertain those sorts of ideas."

">TheRedPill

"Being an asshole, having double standards, being obsessed with sex, blaming everything on women -- this is basically their manifesto."

Bask in it, boys.

There's no such thing as bad publicity.

Indeed. Describing how a guy was a complete asshole and yet snagged a 17 year old virgin will make your average clueless beta post about how sorry he feels for her...

I think the main problem with using this relationship is that it reads almost like textbook abuse. I realize we are only getting one side of the story, but what isn't getting mentioned is that he was keeping her isolated from family and friends, having a nasty temper, and going beyond negging and just berating her.

I'm not saying that the solution with the female in control is the perfect solution, but this is hardly an ideal relationship, and is, at best, questionable, and, at worst, abuse.

[–]heyyoman 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Right, but she could have left any time. I'm not condoning how he acted, but she could have left any time in five years (and she eventually did). He did not have her locked up in his house.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Which is why TRP points out just how terrible it is that people are growing up in homes with no father or a beta father.

You can bet that no red pill father would let his daughter date a guy like this or raise a daughter who would accept this shit.

Here is the relevant passage on her supposed "date rape".

I have bolded important parts.

In fact, I think it could kind of be considered date-rape. I don't know. I said no multiple times but he kept persisting and eventually, we were having sex....It was the absolute only thing on his mind, despite me saying I was interested in a relationship like that. It became a problem later on. I was required to have sex with him EVERY single time we saw each other. I had a fairly high sex drive but shit, sometimes you have a stomach ache or just don't feel like it or you're on your period and don't enjoy period sex! Did that matter? Nope. He'd berate me and kick me out of his house if we didn't have sex.

This is the frame you want to have, gentlemen. Disregard her obvious biased tone.

Here, you have a guy who offered ONE reality. That reality is sex when he wants it, how it wants it. Everytime. If she doesn't like, then she can leave. No one is making her stay. Just because she feels she has to have sex to satisfy him doesn't mean she had to have sex; she could simply not satisfy him and be on her way. She knew where the door was.

He made the act of satisfying him so rewarding to her, she would forsake her own desires for his.

The bottomline: This girl made her own decisions to stick with the guy, for whatever reason (sex, alpha fucks, etc).

However, she prefers to be a "victim", because that allows her to shirk her responsibility. What women like her dont' realize though is that by blaming the man for her OWN actions, she also indirectly sets up herself (as well as all women) in a poor position as weaklings because it means she (and no woman) is strong enough to walk away. What a horrible reality to truly believe a man "with only 2 sexual partners" can have that much power over you. This could all be alleviated if she would stop playing the victim card, state what she wants from the guy, and then ACTS on it.

[–]1Zackcid 53 points54 points55 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Did that matter? Nope. He'd berate me and kick me out of his house if we didn't have sex.

Lol, I laugh how my old blue pill self would be outraged by this. "HE DARED KICK HER OUT BECAUSE NO SEX. OMFG!$*&"

Today, I just read this and mentally applauded the guy for brilliant behaviour.

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points42 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

What's amazing is that she knew the arrangement (go to his house and you must have sex or get the fuck out) for a long period of time and even though this experience was "traumatic" she still kept going over there.

It's his house; he sets the terms for staying in his house. Don't like it? Leave. But don't stay and have sex then somehow claim you are a victim of rape.

[–]1Zackcid 21 points22 points23 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Exactly, somewhere, beneath all that bullshit she was spewing, I know that she was obviously getting more out of it than led us to believe. If she, as a woman, weren't getting value out of this relationship, she'd be gone ASAP.

Whether it's his time, the emotional peaks, the "love", the sex, or whatever it was. She was gaining something out of it and has no right to complain because she stayed with him.

You seem to be the one jumping to abuse conclusions.

I just said she didn't have to stick around and get dicked if she needed a place to stay. Women especially pre-wall women have tons and TONS of options. Friends, Family, Shelters (you dont necessarily have to be abused to get into a shelter for women, there are tons of homeless shelters that only accept women). They're also usually at the top of the list for subidized housing under single moms with children and the working poor families with children.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Right. 5 years. I'm talking about building a relationship that will last.

Take a second and actually read what this girl has written about him. He's a fucking man-child - not some visionary - not some guy who's a "pro at maintaining frame". This guy was incredibly lucky to score some vapid, submissive idiot who was stupid enough to put up with his aggressive behavior for 5 years.

But it just comes to show that it still wasn't enough - being an asshole won't last. No matter how young, how inexperienced, and how vulnerable you catch her, she will eventually learn to quit your bullshit.

[–]riverraider69 16 points17 points18 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are two different things at play here.

  1. His behavior worked. They were together for 5 years, and even at the end she clinged to him as hard as she could, and gave up(?) only when her brother threatened him.

  2. He was a cunt, insecure asshole. Which is pretty obvious.

But point 2 doesn't change 1 in the least. What he did worked. What he wanted from her is likely not what a normal, mature, well adjusted guy would want from a girl. But that's only a matter of preference. The method itself - the Dark Triad - if you can pull it off works. At least on her it worked spectacularly well.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I thought your original comment was genuinely one of the most brilliant I've read since coming here a few months ago. I do however think you wrongly attribute the length of a relationship with its value.

I know many relationships in which the man is an asshole or the woman is an overaggressive bitch where they constantly fight and bring each other down which have lasted many years. It is an overused cliche that the woman keeps going back and back to her asshole boyfriend (I mean actual asshole, like the wife-beater sort or the tool mentioned here) and this like almost all cliches is based on reality.

The question here is not about the number of years a relationship lasts but the value we take from it. This guy took all he wanted from the relationship and forced her to bend to his every emotional whim. If we want to build relationships which support us and provide deeper connection and happiness then we have to force our hand as well as our SOs in order to build a positive environment which is win-win.

Do we want to build relationships that genuinely support our happiness and growth or do we just want to get laid. Of course burning through pussy like Charlie Sheen has its place and a surefire way to get an effective relationship is to get good with women in general.

[–]drallcom3 4 points4 points4 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

If he was truly TRP

You can't 'be TRP' this is a discussion of what works in terms of attracting women. Clearly this sociopathic abusive guy was able to keep her in a relationship for many years. This makes his behaviour relevant for investigation on this sub.

Why everyone has to say things like, 'This is the frame you want to have, gentlemen.' or 'If he was truly TRP, he wouldn't have done any of those things.' is beyond me.

Examine the behaviour, understand it and apply it to your own goals and morals. Just keep the discussion of your own goals and morals to some other place, that's not what this sub is for.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

. But for guys who are interested in maintaining relationships, you CANNOT depend on being a sex-crazed asshole in order to maintain a higher value in the relationship.

This depends on what you want out of the relationship. If you treat it as a typical relationship then this is a bad frame. However, if he viewed her as more of a FWB thing then he held the right frame.

Also, she clearly isn't telling the truth.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's a fair way of putting it. But I feel like the guy in this example does not represent the ideal TRP male.

His dominant behavior is so excessive to a point where it's embarrassing. Here are some excerpts that I think DO NOT represent maintaining frame, but just come off as pathetically desperate attempts to be in control (which is unattractive for any female):

If the sex wasn't great one time, my fault. If I couldn't get wet, my fault. If I was in pain during sex, my fault. Nevermind more foreplay, changing positions, or taking breaks. Nope, my fault, I'm a worthless bitch. Traffic's bad? He'd yell at me.

This sounds like a guy who is shit in bed and needs to project his own insecurities on his girlfriend.

He paced around the bar, infuriated, swearing and shouting, looking for empty seats. I was mortified and terrified. He grabbed my arm and we left. All over not being able to grab a beer and some bar food before a movie. Even smaller things set him off, like dropping a fucking potato chip on the floor would be followed by him throwing a tantrum and shouting. I was afraid of him, he'd get so mad over the littlest things

This is embarrassing.

He'd constantly break up with me through text and bring up super important things through text. Not to avoid confrontation, not because he could express it better, but for his ease and so he didn't have to deal with any consequences.

This guy is not maintaining frame. He's a fucking man-child who got lucky enough to find a girl who was so emotionally vulnerable ands fucking vapid that he could control her like a puppet. This is disgusting behavior. This is not who you have to be in order to get sex.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're under the impression that in order to maintain a relationship where your girlfriend consistently wants to please you (view you as higher value), you've got to be an asshole. That is not the case.

Yes it is. "Asshole" has a very different meaning to women. They use it endearingly to describe challenging men. If you think women dislike a challenge, you're mistaken.

No, his points are valid. A young girl is going to go along with a seemingly strong willed guy, regardless, but being immature and controlling is unsustainable in the long run. The point is the girls like the one in the post are broken. Low value if you will. guy is complete dark triad and his methods would work for a short period of time but a mentally healthy girl would call him on his shit after a while but not only this girl seeks abuse, she has a victim mentality too! I said no multiple times

I am not saying she was raped. What I will say is you are constructing your argument by being selective with evidence from a biased source and trying to make a factual argument of it. I am not convinced she was raped and I am not convinced she wasn't. Jumping on the false rape claim is nonsense. It adds nothing to our understanding but you can be damn sure your post as an endorsed contributer is going to be quoted on other subs as evidence of why TRP supports rape and is full of angry misogynists. This is where I start disagreeing man.

Who let these girls over the age of consent off their leash? Can they go and willingly jump on any dick and scream they're raped if they decide later she shouldn't have? What the fuck stopped her from seeing reason in the first place? Why is all the responsibility on the guy having sex with her to provide her a pros and cons list of sleeping with him so she can make an informed decision? Why is she even given a right to consent is what you seem to be implying...

make her do something she didn't want.

From her own description(one that has tons of holes so we can very reasonably assume, even from a non TRP-biased viewpoint, that she is sensationalizing and just appealing for validation), she is clearly making out the case that she didn't have to do anything. But she still did.

She is coherent enough to identify all of his bullshit now, and I'm guessing she had an idea they existed at the time too. Logically, she didn't have to put up with it. But she did.

Nobody is questioning whether his personality was manipulating her. Dark triad is passive manipulation of not just women, but anyone around them. Those traits influence behaviour. The manipulation here though specifically, was attraction. Her attraction made her consent every time. And that is not rape.

This isn't me saying "she liked it so she must've wanted it". This is me saying, she specifically fought to keep getting it. Him threatening/coercing/forcing/pressuring her to come to his place to have sex every time... that remains a no. And if you forget the bullshit, what she eventually cried over at the end was her decision to end it. There was no threat of anything bad happening whatsoever. Nothing bad ever did. Same as before. She just gave up on her pursuit of the alpha, after being forced to by her brother. Notice how her brother only becomes visible in this story around this point. She is just completely delusional if she thinks people around her didn't warn her. She is completely delusional when she starts blaming /r/MensRights or /r/TheRedPill for her bf's behaviours in her concluded 5-year relationship that happened further still in the PAST (TRP is 15 months old, the time-scales dont even make sense, she loses all credibility here).

It cannot be considered rape under any conceivable scenario. This wasn't even a nice man turning mean once she got to his home. This was a mean man saying fuck off if you dont want to have sex. The facts are in her face, she makes a conscious decision to ignore them. And later regrets it. This IS NOT a case of her doing something she didn't want. This is a case of a few things happening as she didn't want, namely her being a completely disposable slut. And her partner completely not caring about her.

This is a case of her wanting him and doing everything she can possibly do to satiate her want. And later, hamster away her responsibility for choosing a fucktard.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That isn't rape. Rape is forcing yourself onto a woman either through force or through incapacitating the victim. Everything else is sexual assault, and this doesn't even sound like that. He was just persistent.

'Manipulating' women can't be classified as assault or rape, otherwise every single man who has ever lied in some way to get laid (read: all of them) is a criminal.

She said in retrospect it seemed as though it could have been date rape. My strong guess is that she said this because he provided alcohol for her, as date rape is a term used when inhibiting chemicals are used to make a girl more open to sex or unable to say no. If that is the case it would by legal definition be date rape, as a man above the age of 21 provided alcohol for a minor.

Despite this, she qualified it with the fact that it wasn't sufficient to qualify as a more heinous 'type' of rape, but simply that it probably is classified as date rape. And that it wouldn't be sufficient to take to court.

First, if she was in fact sober, and there was no alcohol, I am wrong. But my guess is that within the context of his drinking and the fact that the term 'date rape' is associated with drugs, there was alcohol. If that's the case it means the general legal criterion for date rape. You might disagree with how the law looks at providing alcohol to minors and having sex with them, as high-teens might seem like adults. That might even be a fair point, but it doesn't make her wrong.

[–]Gucci_guwop 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

xactly. She almost got away with not mentioning how they eventually broke up. She went with the common victim routine: "I was stupid and infatuated with an abusive asshole. Woe is me". I bet if the boyfriend were to see this post his first point would be that she exaggerated on a lot of his "short temper" behavior. There's always two sides to stories like these. And while I don't consider hitting women (because that's basically her getting the worst out of you, which is what she wants), I'm betting that she was doing every thing in the book that would usually get a guy's ass kicked. Just look at the Jay-z sitaution. If it weren't for the cameras, that woman would have 100% gotten away with hitting a dude who could easily beat the shit out of her. Women will push your buttons to make you lose your cool. You just gotta bob and weave.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Is he a high status, in shape, confident male that we all aspire to be? Probably not.

It's always worth discussing the occasional dark triad dude and the women that essentially give them their souls.

Points 1 and 2 are irrelevant, point 3 is just a power technique to make yourself never look bad or weak in his woman's eyes, and it obviously worked for him. 4 is pure manipulation, just using extreme emotions to make his woman do whatever he wants and win any argument instantly. 5 is another power technique, is he doing is because he lacks SMV or is he doing it because it works really fucking well?

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

A 23 year old in America strongly pressuring/pushing a 17 year old girl to drink can literally be one of the definitions of date-rape. Supplying alcohol to a minor and having sex with her after? That can be date rape in a court of law. I don't see why she can't say it's date rape. She still did qualify it saying that it wasn't forceful or violent. Alcohol can be considered a date-rape drug.

Do I think these situations should result in men being called rapists, put in jail, and put on a registry? No, probably not. The reason is that the burden of proof is almost impossible to meet, and innocent and good men would end up going to jail as a result. Does that mean pressuring a much younger girl to drink a ton with the intent of taking her back and having sex with her is an ethical thing to do? No, it isn't ethical. I have never had sex with a women who felt dirty afterwards or regretted it, because I only have sex with women who are excited to have sex with me. I've never pushed a girl to drink more because I think it would make her easier. These aren't positive traits, even if they are legal.

This man was abusive though.

In TRP we understand men and women are different. Part of that difference manifests itself in the ability for men to more easily physically and emotionally abuse women, in a way similar to the dynamic between parent and child.

This man, even if he only did half of those, was a pretty evil and abusive man. Yeah of course she could have made it all up, but anyone on the internet can make things all up. If it is true though, I don't understand why this looks like a good case t

This man was abusive though.

Says girl. What's the man really like? We dunno.

All I need to know at this point is that he's her ex now. If you let the woman open her yap, you'll always hear that he is literally Hitler. You never hear anything else.

a pretty evil and abusive man

No fucks given, as long as he acted in a lawful manner. The bitch was trying to insinuate online that he raped her, which is a crime. She also insinuated that he is a pedophile for fucking her scrawny 17 year old ass. Are you with this chick's reasoning? She's the supposed "child", and she's outraged, because, like, that's pedo. She's fucking him and that's just hunky dory, you go girl. He's fucking her, and that's rape, pedophilia, abuse, and pure evil.

Keep in mind, she is not writing all that now because she is broken and suffering from the consequences of a crime committed against her by some "evil abusive man". She's doing it because it brings that evil cunt immense personal satisfaction to put the ex in a bad light, gain validation for herself, and attention whore online.

The woman is literally the manipulative Hitler she's trying to demonize, herself, and she gets off on this.

[+][deleted] -8 points-7 points-6 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She said in retrospect it seemed as though it could have been date rape. My strong guess is that she said this because he provided alcohol for her, as date rape is a term used when inhibiting chemicals are used to make a girl more open to sex or unable to say no. If that is the case it would by legal definition be date rape, as a man above the age of 21 provided alcohol for a minor.

You might disagree with how the law looks at providing alcohol to minors and having sex with them, as high-teens might seem like adults. That might even be a fair point, but it doesn't make her wrong.

As far as her saying stuff like pedophilia/rape, yeah that's probably over the top. But often women who escape from abusive relationships aren't great at keeping a tempered and logical approach to their past feelings. And given this seems like a pretty standard abusive relationship, I think those failures on her part can be understood within the bigger picture.

At a certain point we have to not push too far. There are pretty fucked up cases where rape/pedophilia/abuse is thrown around, and it's important to fight back against those. But sometimes there is genuine abuse that occurs. In the end we don't truly know what happened. But it's just as easy to invent a story where she's erm a "manipulative Hitler" as it is to think "Oh wow sounds like she was abused."

And at that point it is biased to assume it is never abuse, and the women must be lying.

[–]Senior ContributorSkorchZang 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You're right, patient explanation. Especially about the date rape statutes, if that happened then, no beef, she's legit in that accusation. Doesn't make her right, but "right" has nothing to do with it - it was definitely the guy's responsibility to keep it legal and comply with whatever his jurisdiction's norms demand.

I am glad to be biased, to favor the man. I'm a TRP subscriber. So see right through her, and she gets no pussypass here. The bitch is shamelessly whoring for attention, with nothing to show in a court of law, and no intentions to ever do so. Her only purpose is passive aggressive revenge against the ex and self-validation at his expense.

There is immense anger here, waiting to be directed at cookie-cutter pseudo victims like her. Just as outside TRP there's default sympathy, which she's successfully harvesting at AskReddit.

Finally he did talk to me and wanted to meet up and talk about things/get back together. I was all for it, but my brother found out when I was about to leave the house and said absolutely fucking not. He kept threatening to call the cops on my BF for assault (he'd given me a black eye when he hit me on our trip). I freaked out and ended up not going to meet up with him.

Some years ago rape was only when you used brute force to make sex with someone that doesn't want it ,then they made sexual coercion also a form of rape because it seemed reasonable, now you don't even need to force the other person to have sex with your to be rape.

She was drunk?Rape.

She regretted the sex?Rape.

In fact, she doesn't even need to have sex with you to claim that you raped her, even if the police doesn't get involved your personal life is already harmed beyond repair.

For the first world feminists getting snatched by a criminal in the streets, beaten and being physically forced into sex while trying to resist with all you can, is virtually the same thing as regretting sex in the next day.

The rape culture hysteria train has no brakes.

[–]1Zackcid 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

A Dark Triad asshole indeed, but I couldn't help but think that she painted him off to be worse than he actually was at times. Too many times I've read stories of women bashing their exes just to get the public on her side. Then, turns out the ex was nothing like that. She just exaggerated everything to get people on her side. "Look how bad he is!! Join me in hating him because he hurt my feelz!"

I think it's a subconscious ego mechanism so that she feels better about not being with him anymore.

[–]DarkCircle 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Whenever I hear those my ex XYZ stories I am always cynical and aware that I am hearing half of the story. One quick test is does she admit to any wrong doing or even learn anything from the situation? Is there one, "I should have seen it from the start, I will make better dating choices" or "I did XYZ wrong".

[–]1KingofRiders -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I agree that happens and I also think she lied about how attractive/how high her SMV was.

That said you also can't assume she was lying. That she had a black eye and her brother forced the break up, while it could be a lie, does not make her out to be a hero but a bit of an idiot and so I am leaning towards believing it.

I also think you could be projecting your own experience onto this. Like you said:

I think it's a subconscious ego mechanism

[–]1Zackcid 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True, but I didn't say this was all a lie. I just noticed a few instances where it seemed too exaggerated to be true. I believe the black eye, for example.

This is an analysis of a woman who is retconning a 5-year relationship to avoid admitting that his behaviors were attractive to her (for whatever reason).

Women will always paint exes to be abusive. In fact, I don't know one ex girlfriend I've ever had that didn't try to bad-mouth me to others by calling me abusive. You need to learn to read past this and see it for what it is.

This is a great example of just how people will change the story to fit their needs. Think about this for a second- why would somebody who clearly believes the guy was a jerk and a shitty guy- why would she enter the relationship, let alone stay in one for 5 years?

This is stuff to analyze.

What did he do wrong?

What did he do right?

How much is she making up to back her point?

This is absolutely what our community is about, and has always been about.

The discussion here in this thread is fantastic, talking about the ins and outs of the behaviors described here- and what's better is, nobody seems to agree. There are some intersting ideas being passed here.

And you're calling it noise?

The noise we remove are the on-liners or the "she took him for everything" low-hanging fruit posts.

This post is chock full of interesting interactions to analyze.

Nothing could be less red pill than the guy in this story. I'm sure some of this story is exaggerated but you can tell he's a little bitch. The fact that she stayed with him certainly speaks to some unfortunate truths about the behavior of women, but storming around a restaurant complaining because you can't get a table (I think that part was probably true) speaks to a total lack of frame. Blaming her for him not turning her on. Bitch move. If you have to be this way to get pussy then why even bother. That she stayed with him is fucking pathetic but it's not like a 17 year old virgin knows any better. Christ, there are some pituful, fucked up people in this world.

[–]hazyjen 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

False rape accusations are just plain horrible and wrong. However, I think that there is A LOT that goes on in the mind of a rape victim that doesn't necessarily make sense to the outside world. I'm not saying she definitely was or was not raped. However, some of her wordage seems timid/confused/dismissive/unsure...During a rape, some victims are unable to even move. She says that she said "no" repeatedly, and that he kept persisting. With all due respect, putting so much hate on one person (who may or may not have been raped) doesn't do a lot for either side. We don't know what she truly experienced, and the fact is that if she was raped, this can show in a lot of different ways. Every rape victim acts differently, and some will literally not admit that what happened was rape until later (weeks, months, etc). Plus, there was a lot of emotional manipulation/abuse in play with this guy. That can really twist a person into a weird/confused/unsure place, making that person very vulnerable (and more susceptible to coercive tactics, abuse, dominance). Are we going to tell a person just coming to terms with their child abuse that they were just "convincing themselves of it" because they didn't immediately process those feelings? Must her story be fake unless she makes an immediate, clear, succinct statement right after the rape (or lack there of)? No one can really know what happened to this woman except her and the man that she had the experience with. I just think that this victim blaming (because if she wasn't a victim of rape, she was at least a victim of A LOT of emotional abuse) isn't constructive.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

putting so much hate on one person (who may or may not have been raped) doesn't do a lot for either side Agreed there. I think most people are just frustrated at how easy it is for a girl to say rape and have everyone believe her.

There's really no way to know exactly what happened unless we were there. Assuming that her story is remotely accurate then her BF was a controlling, manipulative, and abusive asshole.

However, it says a lot that she's 1) very unsure if it was rape 2) never reported or told anyone until now (well after the breakup).. or at least she didn't mention that she did 3) stayed with him so long

I know, I know we can't know anything for sure.. but real rape is abusive and painful..and not something someone is willing to risk again by being in the abuser's presence a second time.

Child abuse/rape is a different scenario altogether and irrelevant to this situation.

You miss a very important fucking point about rape. Rape isn't about how she feels after the incident. She either consented or she didn't. In my opinion she had better have a story about how he clearly forced or threatened her for it to hold any truth. Bite marks, bruises, scratches, etc.

[–]1KingofRiders 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

but real rape is abusive and painful..and not something someone is willing to risk again by being in the abuser's presence a second time.

You are thinking like a man. A man is logical and if bad things are happening he nopes the fuck out. A woman is not a man, she runs on emotions. Woman have been known to stay with rapists, defend their rapists and are usually the ones who get "stockholm syndrome."

Again I am not saying she was or wasn't raped but you can't apply male logicality to women. HOWEVER

She either consented or she didn't

She said no multiple times, APPARENTLY.

[–]DarkCircle 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Here is the thing. I think in some false rape allegations, the woman has actually hamstered herself in to actually believing she was raped. Instead of facing the truth that she put out easily, she just warps reality to be whatever she thinks it is. There is bad emotion present and like a live grenade, she would rather toss it into an innocent mans lap then deal with herself.

What is sad is that this guy does sound like a real psychopathic jerk, but she can't get enough. Erin Pizzey said that for some women, they vow never to go back, but once they hear his voice, it is like the pied piper. She just cannot resist and they return till he ends up killing her.

The only reason they broke up was because after giving her a black eye he dumped her. She was still ready to go back until her brother put a stop to it.

Yo I got a girl-friend (I'm a guy) who is in a relationship like this. The guys completely demeaning, easily angered, and completely paranoid. I'm in a fraternity and she is a sweetheart (i.e. she's been good friends with everyone here for years and it is platonic). He doesn't even let her come over unless he is coming over because he doesn't trust that she isn't going to just sleep with everyone here. Her roommates fucking hate the guy because he gets so angry and has no control. Fuck knows why she stays with this abusive piece of shit, but anyways what the fuck do you say/do to get her out. We've already established that if he ever threatens or hits her again we will beat him to a pulp. (we are pretty sure he has; she won't admit it of course but her roommates have heard what sounds like it). She acts like he needs protecting because he is emotionally needy or some shit; he says if she leaves him he will kill himself even though we all know he will hurt her long before he will ever hurt himself. She is always saying shit like "you don't know him," "he's the only one who actually cares about me," "he just has his own problem he really loves me." She is madly in love with a piece of shit. Is there anything we can do for her besides just being there and making sure she is safe?

A typical white knight trying to 'save' a woman from her bad-boy boyfriend. White knight says bad-boy has no control then says the same bad-boy controls the girl's behaviour and keeps the whoring on a tight leash. This is textbook stuff. Saw this in the comments, just had to point it out. One of those things that make you realize TRP is uncannily spot-on.

That makes no sense: "he's a horrible person who beat me, treated me like shit, had me living in fear, and...he kinda-sorta-maybe-raped me, I think?" Why wait until that point to trickle truth/lie to herself?

[–]3Ill_mumble_that 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

The man in this story is a SOLID example of redpill frame. He set the rules, he set the tone, he set the conditions of the relationship. If she didn't want to accept any of that she was free to leave at any time. He did not hold her down, as she says so herself. But instead, she did accept it. It's on her. Doesn't matter if she was 17 when it started, that's close enough to 18 and in some places 16 is considered legal. Ignorance is a very poor excuse, try using it the next time you get pulled over for running a red light.

Agreed, the lost temper in the bar is not holding frame.

He sounds Dark Triad, though.

Don't really need to be abusive.

I highly doubt he actually ever hit her. Something that serious would have been in the main post. It wasn't. She brought it up in a comment later after the post was blowing up and she was the center of her "victimhood" attention. I'm assuming she is full of shit and looking for more sympathy so she fabricated that part.

Regardless I didn't even read her comment replies until you mentioned it. I was focusing on the OP.

I don't see any abuse in the opening post. He was an asshole from day 1 and she chose to stick around. Being an asshole != abuse.

Nothing is ever that simple. Domestic abuse and abusive relationships do exist, and are awful problems. So why don't the abused partners (most often women) just leave?

It's really hard to understand, but the best way to think of it is as mental illness. In a way its like a less acute version of Stockholm Syndrome. There are horrific and tragic cases of abuse where the abuser forces his partner to cut off all connections to her friends/family and is controlling. At any point the women can just 'leave' so why doesn't she? It's hard to say, and it's a really complex issue, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I'm not arguing that all abusive relationships mean the man should go to jail. In fact, often they don't. If a man is emotionally controlling and abusive, and a women doesn't leave, she is under law consenting to the relationship by and large.

But that doesn't mean it is not horrific for the women or an abusive relationship. It's a very complex topic, I encourage you to read more into the study that has been done on the emotional psyche of what an abusive relationship looks like. It's often very frustrating, but it seems to be a very very critical flaw in (mostly) the female brain. Perhaps because over evolution women were safest when sticking with the protector/pack, no matter what? I don't know, that's just a guess, but it is a real phenomena.

I might be wrong, but I imagine if you had a mother who was beat by your dad for years, but was too scared to leave, you might have a better understanding. You wonder why just "leave mom, just go, let's leave." And she says she will, but she is too scared? Or loves him? Honestly, what is it? I don't know. But it's a real phenomena and definitely something that exists and we should try to understand.

Just because in TRP we don't accept bullshit arguments about how all men are immediately guilty if accused, and how the courts are bullshit, doesn't mean we need to assume all women are lying if they say they were raped/abused/assaulted. Because these things do still happen, and when they do it's tragic.

  • Alpha.
  • Pressures a 17 year old Virgin 6 years younger to fuck within 2 hours of hanging.

Pick one.

I don't understand what you're implying.

[–]IGoldSrsLinks -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh dammit. I used those angled indents but the formatting didn't work. I'll retry. I was pointing out that the guy OP linked is not an example of 'alpha'.

[–]isthatyourdaughter -1 points-1 points-1 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You're right, it wouldn't take A True Alpha^TM two whole hours.

[–]IGoldSrsLinks 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

A true alpha doesn't prowl for 17 year old virgins online like a fucking loser. This guy was beta as fuck, teens are probably the only females that'll go near him because they're dumb enough. What a sad prick.

[–]isthatyourdaughter2 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I agree, the guy is a loser, controlling and manipulative. But to say a high value guy wouldn't go for as young a girl as legally possible? That's just not the reality.

[–]IGoldSrsLinks 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I didn't say that. I said the fact that he had to pressure her implies he's a shit cunt. I make sure my girls are ready, especially when they are virgins. They're going to remember it their entire lives, it's one of the times you man up and control your cock for a while and actually look out for them. They're teens for fucks sake. Man up.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't be silly. What's more alpha, having a banged-out 27 year old party slut as a girlfriend or a 17 year old virgin?

[–]New_Horiz0ns -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Why she took all the "abuse"?

Bitches like to be put in their place. They get uncontrollable tingles when you tell her to shut her mouth.

Why didn't she leave?

She never intended to leave. This guy was the winner she always wanted. She loved him and all the discipline. You think she even though about cheating during the whole relationship? Never. This guy was a psycho, dark triad, motherfucker and she would never leave.

I wish I could be like this guy. But my mindset is set dead straight on nice guy. Actually my behavior is nice guy, my thinking is RP. I know the shit I need to do, but sometimes its hard to discipline a bitch you like. Psycho's get women, but I draw the line at punching a bitch.

If you have to resort to your last card, your ability to cause physical harm to discipline a bitch then your mind game is not good enough. You want her to be nervous and scared (she might say something stupid etc) but not because you will punch her. Consequences must come in the form of my behavior towards her not in physical harm.

You don't want to be this guy.

You sound a little bitter. Maybe it's time to go monk until you figure things out. Just sayin', just based on one comment, from a guy on the Internet that you don't know, maybe I'm way off, but it is worth thinking about.
