Sorry for dickish title, serious question.

The first part: Basically, I like following a woman, but not in the submissive sense. The way I see it, I can go on adventures by myself, and I have no need for her to be with me if I wish to see the world. I can do it all on my own without her, should I wish to.

So with that in mind, if she takes it upon herself to spend her time with me, I see it as my duty to her to let her own the experience. I'm there with my wisdom and my encouragement, but she owns the experience and the world will be framed how SHE chooses.

At the base of it, she is there because I want HER, not because I want her body or need a companion.

The second part of this: I want her as long as she wants me. I don't care if she calls us friends, dating, a relationship, a nebulous thing, or something else. Calling our "relationship" something else won't change the emotional and chemical connection between us. The attraction is irresistible when it shows itself*, so it won't matter what she calls us when she's kissing me and imagining our future together. And as soon as she gets bored, I place my trust in her judgement. If I didn't trust her, I wouldn't want her. And if I want her, then want her to be happy, whether that's in my arms or elsewhere.

She is in absolute control of my desire, which gives me the power. If she loses interest, so do I. I would not want to be where I was not wanted.

My last point, perhaps the only prescriptive portion of this post, is this: Do not objectify her personality. A person is in a constant state of change, and fetishizing past actions and behaviors over the real life girl with you in the "here and now" is akin to watching porn.

*I don't chase women, because (ime) women are better at self-selecting based on positive traits. I can do whatever filtering I need, once they make their desires known. The above need not apply if I were simply looking for quick sex.
