There is a great deal of talk about morality and men trying to come to grips with why women do not wet their panties over a man who is "moral".

So let's get this straight. Morality is like fashion. It changes with the times. But virtue doesn't change. And right now in our time what men are claiming as moral are anti-virtues.

A virtuous man will be brave. He will feel fear when he goes into an unknown and uncomfortable situation, but he will over come this fear. And he will ask a woman out. Knowing that she could say no. That she could indeed even laugh in his face, and reply back, "You?!! Why would I go out with you?" and tell all her friends that she said exactly that as you scurried away your ego hurt.

Then the brave man will go out the next week and ask out an even better looking girl. Knowing full well that any girl could reject him, and put him on blast. Again. The coward will cower in his room and beg others to give him permission, and to promise him that he won't be hurt if he goes outside and tries.

A virtuous man will act. With only his own permission. He does not need society, his elders, others, teachers, women at large, or society to give him permission. He does not complain that he is not being told to ask women out, or to dress well, or anything. He will act without permission from anyone else.

A virtuous man is a creator. He can take nothing, and replace it with something. Through sheer force of will. He can walk into a bar where he knows no one and has no connection with any person there at all, and leave at the end of the night with friends, with connection, and with his future wife and mother of his children. He can create the connections. By walking over the barriers and by pushing against other people's boundaries, by going up to their walls and throwing stones, until they look back, and he simply says, "hi you look interesting come to the top of your wall, let's chat". You're cute, I'll get the next round.

And poof, like magic, he or she has created a bridge where only cold emptiness existed before.

A virtuous man does not need a woman to tell him that she wants to be a wife to a strong man, and to love her children he will bear upon her. He will act knowing what she truly wants, and will take her along always knowing what she truly desires. He will care for those who depend on him and his actions, and he will not need to be lead, ruled, or manipulated into granting his boon upon those who serve him well. He will truly love them, and want the best for those whose lives he allows to be entangled with his own.

A virtuous man will serve just as well back. And keep his promises, as best he can, and stand tall and say why he did not when he can not. He will not toss aside trust placed unto him as he will know the true power of trust. Hence he will rarely give it away, or take it from someone else.

Men these days are very quick to speak about morality, the fashion of our time, as quickly as they put on, and then took off, their fedoras and black leather jackets. But virtue? Have you even seen any men speak of virtues? Much easier to put on the leather jacket and tip my fedora, and then declare that women bad cause they don't like the fashion we just declared is good. My gosh, aren't women awful?
