The fall of TRP hasn't happened yet, but I predict it will, as the sub has been quarantined and that's usually a sign reddit wants it go away. And if it is deleted, whatever TRP . red forum or whatever alternative is being peddled will never have the same number of users.

Several discussions I've had on this topic point to this as partially a result of a generational difference. The explicit nihilism about embracing the decline was a message that seemed to hold the most appeal to generation X and earlier millennials, not just with TRP now but with the earlier set of PUA messages and blogs.

The current lack of interest in TRP now in this analogy would be said to result from late millennials and generation Z being fed up with the nihilism and wanting something more constructive, and for this they turned instead to Jordan Peterson or the alt right for promoting messages that things can be done about the system to fix it, or to create a new system that does at least work.

What do you think?
