Nihilism will continue to rise as our society has fewer and fewer frontiers to explore (physically, economically, digitally, etc).

The last major frontier we've seen was the mid 90s through early 00s with the internet drastically changing everything. Even the social media rise of the mid to late 00s was really just the internet shrinking to a few sites tbh (reddit being one of them).

With that said, TRP will devolve to exactly what happened to 4chan. 4chan in the mid 00s was much different to what it is today. In fact, 4chan in the mid 00s was the old TRP, while new 4chan is pretty much what TRP will turn into shortly/is already turning into.

I can't agree. Red pillers have existed since the early 2000's with the rise of the Pick Up Artists highlighted in the Game of Neil Strauss, so long before reddit became a popular thing.

It will go on to exist, as long as men will get rejected and being treated like trash by women, regardless of whether TRP's subreddit subsists or not.

If anything the growth of the manophere is like a counterbalance reaction to the prominence of feminazism.

The Red Pill subreddit has outlived its usefulness anyway, without undergoing some kind of changes - I'm not sure what.

Many years ago now, which is an eternity by internet standards, some minor politician Gen-X-er in his late 20s/early 30s got out of a bad relationship and was fed up with how the sex and relationship game works. It's not the 1950s any more, women have casual sex (often with the kinds of guys they'd never seriously date or marry), decent average guys don't end up with wives just for having a job, and a lot of the ones that do end up divorced.

So he put his thoughts into writing, and it turned out that a lot of 20s-30s guys felt the same way. Not all guys. Some guys got it and had adapted to the modern sex and relationship scene just fine. But others hadn't moved on as the world moved on.

Today, the old guard of The Red Pill subreddit is a bunch of guys in their 30s, some older. A lot of the advice they have today is the same advice they were pitching 5 years ago. It probably works fine for picking up 30-something single mothers in bars and on Tinder, but isn't as relevant to today's generation of guys in their 20s who are having problems with millennial girls and today's college chicks.

Also, a lot of guys who used to suck with women figured things out, partly with the help of The Red Pill, partly on their own, and they're off with girlfriends now or off having a normal sex life with Tinder and real-world approaches. They're not on the internet talking about sex any more. They have jobs and sex lives now.

Meanwhile, the subreddit has filled up with foreigners, edgy high schoolers, guys who are genuinely on the autism spectrum and not just called autistic as an insult, angry conservatives who are more concerned with bringing society back to the 1950s than getting laid or at least preaching some kind of bizarre MGTOW social change, and internet rage artist misogynists who feel validated by getting internet upvotes for bitching about how much women suck.

I think The Red Pill's gotten too old for the advice it used to give to be useful to today's emerging men, and it's been infiltrated by the wrong kind of guys to help it change in the right way to help today's men.

From my understanding The Red Pill was made by one generation(not really sure what to call it), because a lot of the "old guard", as one can easily notice, are relatively old. The Red Pill on reddit was probably infested by millennials and foreign males. I actually hold the position that The Red Pill on reddit is something almost complete distinct from The Red Pill pre-reddit due to this shift.

generation Z being fed up with the nihilism

I was born in 1997 so I think that makes me Gen Z, but I don't see how you can intellectually undo nihilism. Once you see it you can't turn back. People say you have to create your own meaning, but that's just admitting that there's no inherent meaning. I'm fine with having goals and aspirations, and I've been able to do that despite my nihilism, but I also recognize that none of the things I do have this grand spiritual meaning. I don't want some framework to abide by if the framework doesn't come directly from God himself. I don't even believe in God, but if he's out there, and he can tell me his intentions for this place clearly and directly, then I'll gladly go about maximizing to that end.

Your point about nihilism is a really good one IMO, and kind of pisses me off because gen Z has better options and future than millennials IMO. Millennial were raised with ridiculous expectations and coddled, then watched the Enron scandals in high school fucked tons of people out of their retirement, only to graduate college after having that option pushed harder than any previous generation into the worst job market since the great depression. Essentially the rug was pulled out from under millennials, whereas gen Z may not have a rug, but they also never had one to begin with.

In short, I think its easier for them to not be nihilistic about shit, although I understand the lack of appeal of nihilism and I should keep this in mind if I want to get with younger girls.

Just for basis, I think Millennials 1982 - 1997 but with a heavier leaning on 90s babies.

80s babies, the elder statesman millennials (like me) still have some retro Gen X vibe and just seem to be a different era and it manifests in relating to TRP if they're more conservative?

In my experience most young men born in the 90s (aside from alt right dorks) are way more respectful and feminist so they likely aren't into what trp espouses (except the working out/self improvement thing, which is like their one good idea lol, but its married to all that sexist crap).

I get the feeling the "game young college girls because women over 26 are all nasty post wall hags" garbage is espoused mostly by Gen X guys now in their 40s

I highly doubt this. I've encountered more and more people in my daily life using red pill terminology, which is both satisfying and shocking. I think the red pill has a long way to go before we see any decline, we are in the early stages. More guys are embracing the red pill and quarantining the subreddit will not stop the growth.

The red pill is unintuitive, extremely dogmatic, uncompromising and makes things seem more complicated than they actually are. They have more in common with the bluepillers than with the blackpillers.

The red pill has never been really attractive safe for chauvinistic white american dudes. The black pill on the other hand will continue to grow.
