The focus of lookist types on just generic attractiveness is misplaced. They are judging themselves by a feminine standard of beauty and ignoring what qualities women do find attractive. In terms of physical attractiveness this does focus more on genetic ratios, but it also rewards being more well built and stocky over thin and 'pretty'. But it also includes behavior which I would say is the biggest factor. A man who acts masculine but looks ugly has far better chances then a man who looks fine but acts feminine. Or god forbid looks feminine.

(Now, some might look at this and say, well golly gee, I guess it is really easy to be good with women after all! But I don't agree. For these guys who struggled to act masculine to begin with I would liken them doing it to someone scared of heights going sky diving. It can be physically done but it is hardly realistic to expect most people in that position to manage it)
