Q4ALL: Isn't "AWALT" just fundamentally silly? Do people really mean it literally when they say it? It's a bit absurd. Surely people are smarter than that. It's so reductive that it's silly.

Some do say it to mean ALL WOMEN ARE LIKE THAT (which is ridiculous), others say "All women have the potential to be like that" (which sounds useless), others say "Most women are like that" (probably still inaccurate), and others say "It means women are biologically inclined to be like that and socially are not encouraged to not be like that. Some women choose not to act like that but they still get wet for Chad," and others say "ur an outlier who cares."

All women have their human nature encoded inside them. They all will have the instincts to optimize their survivability and reproduction. They won't all give voice and take decisions according to those instincts, but eventually, their happiness may be impacted.

At some point, even if you end up with a woman that is nothing like TRP claims, you can still be sure that you can make her HAPPIER by trying to satisfy her base instincts.

Expect that all humans are greedy and you'll be surprised when the contrary happens. Expect that all humans are good and you'll be deceived all your life.

If there are humans without that human nature inside them, or that overcome it completely, then they're not even good mating partners because they're basically not good at being a living entity.

You know when a Q4RP comes up and someone notes a trend in threads on RP sub which are popular, then within PPD and our RPers note that not all Red pillars believe this, or when Q4BP note feminism isn't a hive mind these are just all (soft) AxALT rehashes. We all categorize groups of people and so we feel like we understand, albeit to different extents. Noticing trends is pretty typical.

Then you have (hard) AxALT. Which is either literal, or results in a constant watching of your own back.

We all have crap thrown at us at some point or other in our lives. Gender doesn't give some magical protection from betrayal or loneliness and sometimes it's hard to move past 'What did I do wrong' or 'How could they do this to me'. Hard AxALT is the inability to move on after the realization that people can be shitheads and a man/woman loving you isn't a happy ever after and there is f-all you can do about it. 'It's just a matter of time' thinking or overly cautious approach. This is a uncomfortable way to live with far too much emphasis on avoiding bad situations. It's just not worth it.

Silly? Yeah. For many it's just a defense mechanism, some might struggle with those 'gray areas' and just want to block everything as black or white. Some just love to hate.

It's not conductive for debate though. On PPD it's only really frustrating when manifested as matter of factly; 'Women don't want this women want that' which is evidenced by 3 historical figures, 5 celebs, 2 endorsed and bobs ex GF. Any counter evidence is filed under either ; 'Women don't know what they want', 'there are always exceptions' or 'I don't accept anecdotal evidence'.

Gender flip it and see what you think, you'll get scenarios where women say all men are like that... is that acceptable to you? If you answered yes, then you've got to as yourself why it bothers you when men do the same to women.

If you answered yes, I imagine you wouldn't be going "absurd, surely they're smarter than that, it is so reductive that it is silly"... Unless you expect more from men because you expect them to be smartar than that? Which means you subscribe to the "women are the most responsible teenager" notion?

No it doesn't literally mean every single woman on the planet earth bar none. It means that the chance than any individually women behave in this or that way is so great that it is most advantageous to assume she does behave like that. If she doesn't so what? If you treat women like a number's game, then it's just on to the next who does.

I think AWALT is just a phrase TRP started using to shut down special snowflake arguments that derailed the discussion. It wasn't originally meant to be taken seriously (although that seems to have changed in PPD).

When people complain they mostly complain about the mgtow awalt version which is something like "all women cheat all the time stop trying". The rp awalt thing is more like "I finally found my unicorn now I can sit back and fall into my old role and she will eternally love me unconditionally" in addition to that "Oh she is such a cool girl she doesn't even like hot men I can stop going to the gym now, I can stop working on myself, stop being confident, I can stop dating her, stop flirting teasing... I don't have to hold frame etc etc"

Then awalt is a really small point, all of the stuff everything could exist without awalt, you don't have to care a abut awalt a bit.

Literally - literally as in every woman is the same or literally as in every woman is like that. For me like that sounds like an apple is a fruit like an orange. Everyone knows oranges are not apples but apples are like oranges. If someone takes it literal and has a gf what do you make of that? Either his definition is different or his kind of taking it literally.

Yes it is reductive but it's also made to mock people who don't understand trends and general speaking. Imagine you are a young virgin guy and you want to get laid, you find trp and they tell you awalt - hillary Clinton is exactly the same as the girl that friendzoned you and rondo rousey. Would you go crazy or try to make sense of it and apply your own nuance?
