The deception principal probably. After all they are a morally superior BP person and they've been deceived, and coerced in a relationship with what they thought was a sweet, kind hearted gent. Turns out he got his foot in the door using a framework that works well. They don't like that he utilised strategy.

It's a three-step answer:

They spend months furiously circlejerking about how everyone on TRP must be a fat, greasy neckbeard evilly scheming how to rape as many teenagers as possible.
They meet a guy who's cool, in shape, and who they can have a fun conversation with.
When they discover that the perception of TRP they built in Step 1 is incompatible with the man they met in Step 2, they conclude that the man must have lied to them! They can't have incorrectly interpreted TRP; that would mean they messed up. But if he lied, it's his fault and they can square the circle without having to admit fault.

It's a fear of having their beliefs tested. They have to believe that TRP is evil and that it doesn't work on girls like them; if this belief is challenged they're forced to admit fault and think critically. Knowing what they believe is far more comfortable.

They think TRPers are liars who manipulate and abuse their partners. In other words, the more prevalent TRP is, the more likely one of them is being lied to by a Covert TRP Operative.
