Why? Oh we can't say the woman had ANY responsibility, because women are after all innocent little angels. Of course.

It must be the guys fault. Or the fault of the mysterious "it". Honestly though, how hard is it to get naked, crack a smile and do what you've already done with a guy MANY times before and whom you're, get this: married to?

Depends on the issue, but most women don't like to view sex as a chore. And most men don't want their wife to view sex as a chore. The act of sex is an emotional one for most people.

If a guy isn't "attractive" anymore maybe giving him a little sexual affection will make him display those alpha traits you crave but never admit to craving.

I've actually found the opposite.

This thread seems to be more angry ramblings than thought provoking. Aside from the very good point that only a few listed reasons were bad sex, having the woman lay back and think of England isn't exactly a good sex life.

I didn't spot a question in your post, so I'll go with the one you posted in reply to Epic:

People get lazy and forget easily. Or babies and kids get in the way. Or they have a low sex drive that had a brief hurrah at the start of the relationship and then fizzled out.

I used to hang around a lot of women's relationship forums, and when women have small children, it's common - some are worse than disinterested They feel like their husbands don't help with kids and house and that sex is just one more chore.

Then there are the women not getting any sex. Their husbands either have a low sex drive or prefer to jerk off to porn. This is a LOT more common than is ever said in the media. Women won't talk about it in public, because everyone assumes it's the women's fault when her husband doesn't want sex.

It's a lot harder for a woman when her husband doesn't want sex. The more she tries to initiate, the less he "feels like a man". If she tries to do things to him to get him aroused and he still has a limp dick, then it's embarrassing for both parties. The best she can do is just to dry hump him ----> which is basically what men are doing to women who are uninterested in sex (not a dry hump, but still like a form of masturbation in which you use another person). So yeah, you're not going to dry hump....

I've said before in PPD that I went for years barely having sex with the man I lived with. He had a low sex drive, and didn't want to do anything about it nor did he want to have sex anyway, just to make me happy.

My idea of a relationship is that you keep in mind how you felt about the person in the first months after you met them - and hold that thought.

If a man isn't attractive anymore what can you expect? You're assuming everyone likes alpha traits as well.

There are a lot reasons why sex lives can change and it's not always the woman's fault. Maybe the husband got ugly. He stopped doing sit ups and started eating unhealthy. He went bald. Stopped brushing his teeth. Was never good in bed and was selfish. Has a small dick. Only wants sex and is only nice to her then. There's two sides to every story.

Do you have any idea how female anatomy works? When a woman is not properly aroused, intercourse is PAINFUL not just for the time sex is taking place but for days after.

I am a "fake it till you make it" kind of gal if I am not feeling super sexy but my husband has earned my trust in that regard and we've figured out what works. The notion that a woman should just tough through it is ignorant of what you're actually asking.

TRP explains that it is completely the man's fault for not gaming his wife. it is part of nature for the sex drive to fizzle out after childbirth and die just as the kids can start to walk around. over time romantic love becomes companionship love, which is tough on many marriages.
