I'm a professional stage actress. I drive across the country every couple months to set up shop in a different state and do another show. The theatres put all the actors in a group house where we make friends pretty quickly.

The majority of the male stage actors are gay. The straight men are a hot commodity, and are instantly elevated to god-status. Straight theatre actors have their pick of the single actresses in the company, and the first week is basically The Bachelor, with 5-10 eligible women competing for the attention of one or two men.

I am a comfortable 7/10 (confirmed from reliable sources including my agent). Being constantly thrown into new groups of people, I've witnessed Prince Charming Theory hard at work.

Once the straight guy has selected which girl is going to be his fuck-buddy for that contract, they become the power-couple, and she is assigned the highest SMV by her fellow girls. I did a comedic show (mostly 5/10 character actresses) where the (6/10) leading man picked me, and everyone waited on me hand and foot. People asked me where the group was going out that night. The group made us walk into restaurants first, thinking he and I would get the group the best table since we were the best looking. He treated me like garbage, but I put up with anything he wanted since he was my only option and I felt special.

Immediately after, I did a dance contract at a theme park where all the girls were bombshell 9/10's. We had a stunt guy (8.5/10) with a pretty face and huge biceps, and he picked another girl. The same thing happened to her, and the opposite happened to me. The girls cropped me out of their instagram pictures since I was the ugliest. Everyone wanted selfies with her. She loved her life, and on closing night the she told him she loved him, and he dumped her instantly. She didn't love him, she just loved being the center of attention.

It really is all relative. In a house full of gays, every straight guy is a 10, and in a house full of 5's, the 7 becomes the 10. I'm not here to troll/create problems/get attention, just figured a field report might be interesting.

tl;dr - Straight stage actors get instant 10/10 SMV and their choice of woman, woman gets inflated SMV by association, Prince Charming Theory is real.
