Hello. If you know me at all (which I doubt you do), you probably know me from subredditdrama, askmen, or oney - the latter two most likely. I've seen you around both of those spaces, and I'm often quite confused by what you have to say, so maybe you can clarify.

By most measures, I am just about the beta-est of the betas over here. I trip over myself to respect women's boundaries. I used to teach preschool. I'm wildly emotionally expressive, to the point of being presumed to be gay pretty consistently. I'm super fucking friendly to every Tom, Dick, and Harriet under the sun.

Basically, I'm the pajama kid from the Obamacare advertisements.

But this... hasn't really had an effect (from what I can tell) on my "SMV." If anything, it's amazing. I listen to people when they talk and they like it. I don't push women's physical boundaries. I don't use any special phrases or gambits.

Now, if I were into the whole casual-sex scene, this would be a boon. I'm not. BUT it does get me wondering: why does my experience so directly contradict yours?
