I would propose that for the betterment of relationships we should be teaching people 2 things:

1: how to be aware, connected to and okay with their emotions and other peoples And 2: how to process and control their emotions.

I read a post earlier in which the OP said that men should just be told to man up. I find the idea laughable at best. The way humans work is that your emotions whether you ignore them or not whether you process them or not, they will affect you. They will affect how you think, your health and your interactions with others.

I don't believe its healthy for men and boys to be told to "man up" I do believe its imperative that men are taught to process and regulate their emotions but also to celebrate and nurture them. What do you all think?
