I hate the "women don't like me cause I'm short!" argument. No women don't like you cause you're repulsive in every aspect. It's because FDS principles snatch their precious illusion away from them. Women who find and try to incorporate HVW behavior into their own lives have made a choice towards betterment. That simultaneously robs these Quagmirelets of their pool of prey and also rubs their nose in the fact that no, they ain't shit, actually. Illusions of dominance are very, very important for these self-professed 'alphas'.

As a matter of fact, an extreme, EXTREME NVM that I infrequently have to interact with went off on an insufferable rant to me about this very thing just a few days ago. He claimed that he was being marginalized by all women because he was just 6 feet tall, and had probably never made 6 figures in his life, and women these days think that you're a nothing in society unless you were a 6' 3'', six figure earning Chad. But if men say something to criticize how loose or tight women's vaginas are, or if they complain about Spanx and bodyshaping clothes that help women 'lie', men are branded sexist. The entire thing was one of the most infuriating things to sit through till I started listening more analytically and started making out the sheer frustration at not finding someone who would settle anymore, because in his own words, he was perfect, and the world of women was to blame. I remarked very mildly and noncommittally at the end that I didn't see why anyone should be shamed for having standards for themselves. No coherent answer there, naturally.

Incidentally, I was aware of his predatory behavior with vulnerable women from other sources already, so I really found the cracking veneer interesting. The whole rant was toxic af, but so, so revealing. It heavily confirmed so many suspicions I had in this case.

Happy to hear you have a good relationship! Have you ever checked out any of the dating advice subs? It is 90% dudes whining about how they're going to be forever alone cuz they're not 6 4, or are 20 years old and will be forever alone cuz they've never had a gf....when they don't ever leave their house, don't have hobbies that will bring them into contact with women, don't ever talk to women, etc. You don't need to be 6 4 to have swag, you just have to be a dude with a fulfilling, accomplished life, has good morals, takes care of himself, and is confident in himself (including appearance, intelligence, and just his personality overall). Like....just have a life dude, it's not that hard.

I was just banned from r/feminism for simply commenting about the dude that couldn't help but to photobomb the picture that was girls protesting a no pants rule in a 1940s-50s school. No explanation given as to why. I think anybody with a post history here in FDS gets auto banned.

Bottom line is, Reddit in general seems to hate women and any female-centric sub is *assigned* a reputation of being toxic.

Narcissism is NOT good for societies or individuals affected by narcissistic abuse. A strong degree of self love and confidence is important for every individual, but it has to be reasonably balanced with the needs and wants of others.

I used to be a pickme, I’m still fighting a lot of those tendencies. I was a pickme because I thought I was doing something noble and good for men. I didn’t immediately reject or judge men who were short, unfit, poorly dressed, ugly etc because I really wanted to buy into the whole “looks don’t make the person” thing. I didn’t immediately walk away from men who were selfish or cheap or unromantic or uncommitted. Men complain ALL THE FREAKING TIME about how hard it is being men and facing rejection and all of that. I really, seriously thought I was being different because men complained about how shallow these other women are and etc etc etc...

How freaking stupid I had been!! These same men are the ones that will turn around and neg women, verbally, emotionally, sexually, and psychologically abuse women, trying to ruin their self esteem so that they can trap hem into a cycle of abuse. The NVM and LVM who complain about the dating world being unfair are almost NEVER the type of men who would ever treat women right! They’re only complaining because they want find the most accomplished, polished, beautiful, and high value women so they can abuse them, but these women don’t want them because unlike me, they know better.

The vast majority of men don’t want good women so they can treat them right. They want dumb women so they can treat however they want. Most men don’t want equals: they want a slave that will worship them and satisfy their every whims. Men want women that they can treat like hallway vending machines. Insert some kind of currency (hand holding, pretending to listen once in a while, paging for a date, getting you a cheap present) and then get back unlimited depraved sex acts, emotional validation, cooking, cleaning, free therapy, a punching bag, a scapegoat, a baby maker, a mother, a friend etc etc. if some cheap currency is inserted and nothing comes out, maybe kick it and slap it a few times so you force it out, or demand your money back.

Being a pickme NEVER earned me any love of respect, even though I wasn’t a pickme in all aspects of my romantic life: I still had standards. The last LVM I dated had a STEM PhD, had decent hygiene, had various hobbies he was very skilled at, had a lot of friends, was good looking, had good social skills etc, so it wasn’t like I was picking bottom of the barrel men, even as a pickme. But he turned out to be extremely manipulative, would gaslight me all the time, breadcrumbed me for most of the relationship, blamed for everything and always played dumb or played the victim whenever I was not buying his bullshit. I was bending over backwards trying to understand him, be there for him, be better than the exes, communicate, listen to him (complain about everything). I cleaned his moldy dishes, helped him clean his filthy apartment that had not been clean in what seemed like years while he just complained about it the whole time and drove me up the walls, I fixed his resume, wrote his damn cover letter, prepped him for job interviews, even created an indeed account and applied for jobs for him. When he stayed at my place and I had time I would make us breakfast before work. but I was so anxious with his hot and cold approach, silent treatment, sudden shifts in desires that I lost 15lbs and ended up on anxiety medications. Finally broke up with him for good after 4 previous attempts. yet that fucker still thinks he is the victim here and it’s because he has bad luck with women, even though pretty much all the exes before me are now married with families. I bet for the next victim after me, I will now be added to the list of bad women who treated him poorly and don’t understand him (because he’s so freaking mysterious) or didn’t accept him as he was.
