I was discussing this with my friends last night and all of them seemed to agree, even the women who hook up with different men on a regular basis. One of the things she said was, "why even bother and waste your time on a serious relationship? Men our age are bound to disappoint." And then she revealed that even if you offer casual sex/one night stand, men tend to lie about their intentions and often brag to their friends that the girl fell for them after sleeping with them. It doesn't make sense to me, because why would you lie and make false promises in a world where getting sex is extremely easy?

As someone who's left all her toxic patterns behind, this is really disheartening for me to hear. Do you think that all men in their 20s/college dudes are like this? If you have any positive experiences, please share it.
