I have IBS too and I’ve literally been unmatched on a dating app because I said that I couldn’t drink for medical reasons. Really shows the audacity of that man!

Haha, this is funny and spot on.

I have ulcerative colitis which is generally well managed but I'm terrified of flare ups. I'm careful about drinking alcohol, limit fried foods and cheap crap.

I've noticed men get supper annoyed when I've said no to drink dates (pre FDS) or cheap food places.I know afterwards, I will likely vomit, have terrible cramps and be in the toilet most of the night. No man is worth that.

I used worry that I was undateable due to my drink/food requirements.

Now with FDS I realise it makes me more HVW not less.

Yeah even before FDS, I always hated being asked for coffee dates. Coffee gives me diarrhea, I hate tea, and I have to really be in the mood for hot chocolate otherwise it’s really pointless calories. I would usually try to find a place that had smoothies.

Just agree and ghost. No need to argue so he could offer you better dates. If a guy asks me to come over or offer low effort dates, I suggest somewhere very far from his place and don’t show up. Lol

I prefer a first coffee date... Purely because if he's not what he seemed it's easier to leave.

I'm getting there, but don't think I'd have the courage to walk away from a dinner yet - unless it was a terrible date . If he turned out to be a bland guy ATM I'd probably just get through it.

I definitely wouldn't have pick me up or anything, but that's a safety issue, plus again I wouldn't want random dues knowing where I live
