Meditating and yoga every day since then.

Taking things a day at a time.

I believe this is my first post on reddit. And it's certainly my first post here. I felt that i'd post here to have an additional accountability.

I'll give a little background. 10 weeks ago, I hit a really low point in my life. Overweight, Blue Pilled, and in a dead end relationship.

Today, I've lost 20 lbs, I'm weight training 4 times a week and following a diet. Newly single and reading here avidly.

This week, I've worked on maintaining eye contact with individuals that I work near or with.

Started conversations with Girls all over the HB spectrum to enhance my game and frame.

Focused on the value of saying no.

I think this week I've struggled with whether or not to re-kindle an old relationship. I'm not sure where to call it a waste of my time yet.

Every noon hour this week, I bucked up and ate lunch with my classmates and socialized. I am very introverted and quite socially anxious. Last year, I would go out of my way to avoid socializing, and would eat lunch alone outdoors or in isolated areas of the school. It feels good making my presence felt within the group.

I ran a Tough Mudder race in March and did okay-ish, but it lit a fitness fire under my ass. Now I've committed myself to run the competitive wave of the Colorado Tough Mudder this July, at 10,000' elevation!

I've been going to the local mountains almost every weekend to trail run from 5800-7500' elevation. Damn that is hard on sea level lungs!

Also bought some gymnastics rings to work on upper body strength, and ankle/wrist weights which kicked my ass the first run.

At 50, I'm already in better shape than I was in High School, with a way to go still before reaching my new fitness goals. I'm nothing like swole yet (and may never be as a tall skinny ectomorph) but for the first time ever my muscles are defined enough for women to find squeezing them irresistible.

Landed a plate who is a 40-something yo, never married, no child, tight, and so DTF!

Got a fucking job, finally. Gets me out of the house. Not half bad. After work I go lift as usual. Been on Keto for about a week and a half now. Despite having maintained, or even losing some mass, leaning out has led a lot more remarks of late. Still no friends. Still no contact with women. I am still alone. Another day on the rig, as they say.

Hit calorie goal for 14 days straight now, have officially dropped 15lbs and am a few weeks away from reaching my target weight. This should hopefully put me at 14% body fat or slightly lower.

Just about ready to hop back into the dating scene. Contemplating whether to wait 3 - 4 weeks to finish up with my goal, or to test the waters now.

The good:

Earned my brown belt in judo. This isn't some McDojo, the test was rigorous, and I performed better than I thought I would. I demonstrated about 35 throws along with pins and strangulations, plus a written exam.

I have also been doing Lindy Hop. It's amazing how much carry over there is between dancing and judo.

I've been practicing my knots and techniques for solo top-roping. It's safer than it sounds. With two ropes there is plenty of redundancy. I will climb with partners for sure. But I need to bring up ability levels.

The bad:

Slacking hard on running & bodyweight fitness. Slacking hard on pursuing intellectual goals. Must demonstrate more discipline.

Still don't have any plates. I've only fucked one woman over 30 since I was a teenager, am now 44. I know when I get one woman I'll need to get two.....I fear the Beta is not dead. I don't trust myself enough to fuck my way up the woman chain. I need to start with bright and cute young things who won't get all clingy.

The other thing is this.....I don't move through my day with enough confidence. Objectively, I'm a bad ass....not a major one, but still. I have a degree in mathematics, a career as an analyst, I do a hardcore full contact combat sport, am well built and handsome.....my last gf was a smokeshow 20 years younger than I.....there are guys out there who are so much more confident than I am yet don't have half the resumes. It's stupid. The Beta isn't yet dead.

Joined boxing gym, started bjj.

Hit the weights twice ( ICF 5x5 twice per week )

Took first class to learn to swim ( 26 yo, left it late lol )

Career:

Studied 30 mins per day UNIX Reading 1 hour per day on subjects within my industry

MIND:

Meditated 10 mins everyday Studied 15 mins per day Spanish Studied 15 mins per day Italian Read NMMNG and just started BANG and The Way of the Superior Man.

Sleep: Slept atleast 7.5 hours everynight

DIET: Hit 3,300 cals per day everyday ( conservative bulk ) All clean, will allow one cheat meal tonight ( Thai Food ) and ice cream on Sunday.

I was lazy as shit yesterday and was debating on going to the gym. Got home from work tired as fuck, sitting on my couch just debating if I should go. Finally I realized if I don't go it's a wasted day of not looking better and improving myself. It gave me the motivation to get up and go. Crushed legs last night. Felt instantly better and not guilty when I got done. Now i'm sore but it's a good sore.

Finally reached my short term running goal. I'm finding myself more and more in conversations that I would otherwise avoid (with both male and female). Made my secong straight week where I do a coletive sport with friends (soccer). My studying routine is getting more stable.

Reached 100 KG squat and improved on all my other lifts with better focus on form.

Been doing a serious amount of reading. I find reading 3 or 4 books at a time is the most efficient because if you're board with one you switch and ultimately this allows you to keep your focus for much longer. Even started writing for the first time which was very stimulating even though I only got about 150 words down.

Finally got some medication for my skin condition which will soon leave me with no excuse not to be confident.

Started NoFap. I know it can get overrated but I'm literally on Day 2 and there is already a big difference.

Would like some advice on how to open women/groups of women at bars?

I'm aiming on going out at least once a week this summer and approaching 5 women each night. This might increase once I get into the swing of it.

Got a promotion at work. I almost didn't apply, but instead, I decided to write a polished, slightly erudite letter of interest. I explained to the hiring manager and HR that I'm a commanding presence capable of mentoring the wayward and cracking the whip when necessary. They agreed, and now I can afford to not have a roommate anymore.

Got a membership at a gym much closer to my apartment. Now I have no excuse not to go. Lifted 4 times this week and I'm sore as fuck (the way God intended). Never stop lifting, because when you start again, it fucking sucks.

Haven't really made any approaches lately. I'm focusing on making myself awesome... but my game is probably rusty coming off a 1.5 year LTR, so this is unacceptable. My goal for the next week is to rectify this.

Hey fellas, probs first post as well on reddit as well, been reading red pill properly for about 2 months now, went 1 month of monk mode, reading books n gyming, its my second month now:

The Good:

Been gyming properly, gone 5 times this week, looking leaner and definitely gaining, mindset is becoming stronger, got more energy and confidence in myself

Finally started dieting properly , putting everything down in myfitnesspal app

Meditating nearly every morning round 5 times a week

Keeping good eye contact when chatting with people

Bad:

Still struggling with shit test, can handle them pretty easy if I don’t find chick attractive or if i know them decently but if I find them attractive n don’t know them well, feel like i buckle even though i do get a decent reply

Struggle to break free from my old image when with my friends, always playing safe when with them

Biggest accomplishment of the week is my divorce finalized. 50/50 custody and no support. Going to check on a house I'm interested in tomorrow, so I keep moving the ball forward on rebuilding my life.

Continuing to lift and put more weights on the bars. Deadlift will go over my body weight next workout and squats will go over my body weight at the end of next week. It's starting to get heavy now. Stronglifts app gives clear progression which means I execute more and worry about stupid shit less. Form needs improvement. Shoulders are sore as hell still and I think it's from holding my elbows too high squatting. Lowered them down today and it felt better. Continue to read stronglifts and watch form videos on YouTube. I internalize different details from reading and watching instructions after I execute. I don't trust feedback from the gym bros because it's always conflicting.

Switched to intermittent fasting this week. First day was a little rough, but not bad on the second day after that. Switched back to maintenance calories about a month back from a heavy deficit when I started stronglifts compared to fucking around at the gym. Lifting on deficit calories was wiping me out and I didn't feel like I was recovering. Eating maintenance is challenging after you're used to deficit intake plus now limiting my intake to an 8hr window. Overall weight is down 50 lbs but I'm still at 25-30% bf. I look better with clothes on but still got a ways to go to look awesome naked.

My biggest worry of the potential divorce rape scenario is calmed. Now I need to determine my full mission beyond the obvious be the best father for my children.

All in all, life keeps getting better.

FITNESS: Consistent 4x3 kipping muscle-ups. (yay) Starting to learn back-lever. Steady L-sit holds 5 seconds. More than 40% below caloric + macro goal (bulking).

MIND: Missing out on meditation for the past month.

WOMAN: Notices more glance by each day. Still haven't done my first approach. (sigh, can someone teach me Deutsch in 2 months rofl)

Noticing a lot of "Crabs in the Bucket" sayings from friends around me. Guess I'm on the right path lul.

One of the dudes I mentor is graduating, I think he may go for his master's. Gonna do something nice for him and send him on a weekend trip. (His entire life was hell and he's turned it around big time these last 3 years, let alone before I found him, nary a complaint to be found.)

I bought me a fiver of the new Cohiba Blues and another fiver of the CAO CX2 (double Cameroon, for wrap and binder). Both fivers are resting comfortably in my humi for 2-3 weeks before I try one. If I like or they seem promising, then I will buy a box to age.

Got to go to my nephew's wedding this weekend. He is a true Alpha, and that makes me proud. He really has the chick under his thumb. She works, is smart, and is attractive and fit. He uses smokeless tobacco, and he makes her carry his spit cup around for him. Disgusting habit. True Alpha.

I am living and interning abroad. Decided to start a Ketogenic diet to lower my body fat percentage. Not being able to understand most of the nutrition labels has added an additional layer of difficulty. Happy to say my body is in the best shape its ever been in.

stopped cohabitating with my open relationship gf. Started being more aloof and restrained with her, even aggressive. Not available. Took the relationship back to the early days of explosive fucking; hit a week of getting up at 6:30. Started my routine of meditation, jogging, cold shower in the morning. Huge eye contact improvement and got a clear response on the bus but didn't go further; stopped giving a fuck as much; overall improvement in eating habits but ate pizza today; hit the gym for the first time in a while; still struggling with procrastination in studying but made improvements in learning languages; after a couple of additions to my wardrobe I nailed my style and I'm feeling times more confident. Goal for next week: talk to girl at gym I've been locking eyes with, talk to random girls, nofap for a week, keep up routine.

Finally downloaded myfitnesspal to track my calorie intake, realized I am a very light eater, and I don't feel sexy after eating 2800+ calories. I have also really cut back on my coffee intake as well, I only had one cup for the whole week and that was yesterday... of course I did have some green tea, but I am a lot clearheaded now. I got to ch. 9 in The Rational Male, and started using the advice from u/ScholarInRed from the askTRP Megathread, my conversations with women are easier now that I know I only want to make myself entertained. However the majority of women I have talked to recently are the blonde bimbos of my college, yes I know what you are thinking 'masculinity compliments femininity. But I would rather fuck the brains out of a woman who can agree with me in an intellectual conversation than some dummy that doesn't even know who I am, but laughs coy like when I tease her. Yes, given my own motivation I could probably fuck her... but damn I will pump and dump her like a muthafucka.

125 lbs, 5'8" I am trying to understand how the human body works in terms of nutrition and muscle building. Bought myself a couple 15 lb dumbbells and will start a workout routine to tide me over until I get a decent setup. What's the best and fastest way to build muscle with only some dumbbells? General exercises like pushups, crunches, lunges, pullups and such are obvious, but what are some decent, moderate-high intensity workouts with what I have that would yield the fastest results? Pardon my French, I'm trying to understand all of this to move forward with a bold plan of action.

I've been having a hell of a time tbh. Failure on many fronts, others dont seem to be getting a beach head despite many resources expended.

Mission: I have made a little progress towards my leaning out phase goals, have been sticking to my meal plan sufficiently well to make progress, albeit not perfect. Lifting has been ok, though with leaning I seem to be losing some strength. I'm going through hell, keep going.

Wrt other mission things: I don't seem to have much time besides work, workouts and a couple of fun things per week. I'm going to need to use rescue time or some similar tool to track my time to see where its all going.

NoFAP: sobriety continues to elude me. I seem to be on this destructive cycle where I read TRP, feel either excited about being a sexual God, or feel like I'll never get there, and then go express my fantasies through porn. My brain needs a reset and I need to get back into pursuing my desires for real, and not accepting proxies, 2nd rate from myself. In some ways porn lets me off the hook from having to do the real work of becoming a TRP man. So I need to focus on doing the real work.
