This makes me super sad too because I just started watching Band of Brothers and had to buy COD WWII to get my WWII game fix, I would love a good Battlefield WWII game on current gen consoles but fuck that trailer was such a turn off.

No one has ever seen and embraced the magnificent world inclusive spectacle and conflict that WWII was and thought to themselves... " Needs more women" .... especially due to historical accuracy .

I am hoping it's a decent game but I'm gonna need a few gameplay streams before I entertain the idea of eventouching Battlefield V and in any other timeline that would be an insane thing for me to say .

I almost didn't buy Far Cry 5 for the same reason. The demo that some Youtubers played a month before release only allowed the creation of a female character so I was like "nope!" but then the full game allows the creation of a male character too so I bought it because I love the series. I suppose Ubisoft figured out the game would fail if they only allowed female characters. EA had no such luck and now they have to deal with the consequences of it.
