Men don't understand this and some will say we're being irrational to judge a person based on so little interaction. That's because they lack this ability.

Women have sharper senses across the board and are better at "tuning in" to another person (necessary for childcare), so of course we pick up on a lot quickly. This is a gift given by nature to protect us from male behavior.

Men want to deny that because they want us to give them a thousand chances. Nope, you get one chance, and it lasts less than a minute.

I even judge doctors by their photograph now and it's worked out pretty good for me. You can tell a lot by someone's face, their eyes, the lines on their face, clothing.

For sure. I get a general vibe from profile pictures. Ie he's a fuck boy, he's slimy, he's insecure, he's honest, he's kind, etc

And I think 95% of the time it has been pretty accurate. Especially after exchanging a few messages.

If you're careful and choosey, you can really minimize the amount of LVM you go out to meet in person.

crazy eyes is a real phenomenon.

our face has around 200 muscles and we know how to read them. don't undervalue what evolution gave you. Along with context clues, a good accuracy judgment can be made.

Yep. And I’ve made sure to trust that feeling.

I have gotten to the point where I can ‘see’ a lot about someone in their profile picture and if there is a doubt, it’s usually confirmed when I start talking to them. The few who I let pass usually have been lying and are extremely good at twisting the truth. A ‘published author’ who turned out to be a freelance website content provider was my favorite. I would have been fine with the real job - but why lie about that?

Yes, I used to disregard my intuition because I didn't had any logical reason to say I didn't like someone.

But then I realized I was right after all, so I know listen to my intuition and don't give it a second thought.

A great book about it is Women who run with the wolves.

Is funny you mention OLD, I use a combination of basic image analysis + my intuition and I think it has been successful. The last guys I met through OLD were not for me, but they were educated, well mannered and we had great dates. No sex innuendos, not pushy or gross.

I'm taking a break from OLD now but my last experiences weren't bad, I think it was because of my intuition. I'm thankful I pay attention to her now.

Yes. Many many many times. I actually just talked to my therapist about this, like why do I keep doing this. I keep trying to give people a chance but I have to say it never works out

Yes! This bleeds into real life situations too. My dad has a buddy who gives me the absolute CREEPS. He’s married and has kids and a lot of friends in their circle. My dad thinks I’m crazy for being so weary of his friend for “no reason”. He even told him that I think he’s creepy. So now he avoids me. Kind of a win I guess?

Yes. There’s a guy who actively pursues me on my Instagram saying sweet promising things but he rubs me the wrong way. I would have fell for it if I didn’t trust me more

If you dislike someone or feel like they're creepy or "off", there's literally no drawbacks to trusting this impression. If you're right, you've dodged a bullet and saved your time, money, mental health, and sometimes even life. If you're wrong, you've just avoided one of hundreds or thousands of people you'll meet on your way. The risk/reward ratio is crazy.

Look him up on every single platform available, professional or otherwise. If he doesn't have any kind of online presence: 🚩🚩🚩 Your mans probably don't even have a GED or he isn't telling you his real name (True story)

My favourite strategy:

Google (Images, News Articles included) - Man's first name+location should give it away Or add another + with something important enough in his profile (like company/living abroad) will 100% help you find him this way
Facebook- Great way to vet his age, history, education, social circle, hobbies, his entire timeline. Even if his privacy is high, look up public photos/tagged posts/friends profiles to make sure he ain't a serial killer/regularly posts things about "bitches and gold diggers" (True story sis)
IG - Harder but not impossible. I've been able to verify a few guys through their immediate friends profiles that were on public
LinkedIn - Google should show him on this and most other professional networking sites. If you still can't find him, use the same search function as on Google with name+location.

(I have a wide international professional network so most people are 3rd+ connection for me even if they're on the other side of the world. Level up sis)

Other possible sources: Pinterest, Snapchat, Language learning apps etc.

I've been lied to bad enough that this has become a necessity for me to even keep talking to a guy. It's just a way of protecting myself before I get too invested in someone only before finding out he hasn't been employed for 6 years (True story)
