This is a trap. He's doing 0% of the mental work and you're doing 100% of the mental work (meal planning, keeping track of kids doctors appointments, meetings, tracking the inventory of house items so you can keep things in stock, budgeting, etc) plus '50%' of the work to make money, take care of the house and kids with him

Imagine a life where you had an equal partner who was keeping track of things like you.. how much less stress it'd be that it's not all on you and if you ever forgot something, it's ok cuz he got you

I don't know why my personal experience with all the males in my life, family, partners, friends, cannot be trusted to do life things. Like if I needed something important like I needed to get some paperwork together to apply or whatever, I'd never trust a male in my life. I know I could ask any girl friend of mine, even the most scatterbrained hot messes, and trust it would get done properly

I really think its because they're so used to having women do every single thing for them their entire life, from their mother to partner so they just don't. It's not that they can't, they won't

I will say once upon a time, I had broken my arm and it was in a cast, meanwhile I had just started dating this man. I went to finish getting ready and when I came out, he was washing my dishes. They were piled up because I physically couldn’t do it. I was so appreciative he saw something that needed to be done, and just did it!
