I love this idea and got permission from the mods to run a book club over on the FDS offshoot subreddit for life leveling, but could never decide on a book to start with. I'll be happy to participate when you pick a book.

I saw a mention of making a subreddit for it, I think hosting it on FDS is a good idea because this way it will get attention and people will want to participate. An offshoot will definitely generate less interest. Even people who are interested won't know about it unless they go out of their way. What harm does one post every 4 weeks do? Interested in hearing other points.

Sounds like a good idea, but maybe you should create a dedicated subreddit or other group for this rather than just one post? Doesn't have to be the FDS brand, it just helps with gathering enough members for a fruitful discussion.

I think these are great options. In the future I would also love to see works of fiction/biographies that include an underlying message of female empowerment. Maybe even a historical themed selection in the future? I'm excited for FDS book club regardless!

I wanted to choose Trick mirror first, but i thought that Yellow Paper would be a good start because it's short which can make things easier at first IMHO. :)
